I bought this because of the cute bow clasp packaging also l love the colors . But unfortunately its the worst shadow palette .. The colors not clear on the eyes even if i use the shadow base…

It has so little of pigmentation and it is hard to stick to the eyelid.

I swear the only reason I bought this was because of the cute bow clasp packaging. This retails about $10 USD and it’s not worth it. Even for a beginner/ makeup amateur, I would not recommend this product to them. It’s barely pigmented and it gets really powdery/ chalky looking when you try to layer it on. The darker colors are the same cool tones and they end up looking so muddy on the eye. I’ve used this with an Urban Decay Primer, a white eye shadow base, and a damp brush to only get a hint of color from the shimmery shades. Save your money and get a Maybelline, L’Oreal or even a Wet n Wild palette if you don’t want to commit to getting a high end one. I know NYX has better eye shadows than this line has to offer.

I’ve been using this only because I didn’t wanted to go to waste. I like the colors but you need to use a lot of the product for it to be visible. They also turned to be a bit chalky for me. The price is fair, you basically get what you pay for. I wouldn’t recommend though.

This palette is awful. A couple of the shimmery colors are great but overall I have a really hard time getting most of the colors to even show up. I bought it awhile back and I used it maybe 4 times right after I bought it. I haven’t touched it in months, in fact I forgot I even had it. I do love the little bow NYX puts on their eyeshadows but this palette is pretty lame.

Pros: 2 mattes is a wonderful brow color, cute packaging
Cons: chalky, powdery and even if you pack it in there is no color pay off..
This was a gift so I didn’t spent anything (thank god) and out of all the stuff given to me this was the one I absolutely squealed in delight. I love Nyx they have some of the best lipsticks out there..but this is definitely a fail. Even with primer (nyx) there is no color pay off. I seriously considered giving it away but when I tried mixing the 2 matte browns (dark and light brown) it makes for a good brow color so I’m keeping it because of that (lol) but no skip this one and just invest your money in their other products.

I keep this palette for the matte dark brown- it’s a great liner color. The rest are sub par shadows and a bit chalky. Pigmentation is no bueno. Wouldn’t recommend.

I haven’t used everything in this one yet, but I love what I have tried. I chose this one because I liked that it had pinks in it for a splash of color and I wasn’t disappointed.
As others have said, the packaging is great, though it took me a minute to figure out how to get the darn thing open (hint: the bow is attached to the top, not the bottom.) The applicator is nothing special.
Using primer, the color payoff was pretty excellent for drugstore eyeshadow, and the texture wasn’t terrible. I was especially impressed with the dark brown on the bottom row.
This will probably be my go-to neutral eyeshadow until I can stand to part with the money for Naked2.

I really did not like this palette. In the stores it looked really nice l. The colours are nice and the packaging is very cute. However the colour pay off is terrible. When I tried to put it on I found there was very little colour pay off. Extremely unimpressed!

Oh, Lord, what should I say about this palette? That is has a totally adorable compact? That the colors are gorgeous in the pan? That’s pretty much where the compliments end. I am so wholly disappointed with this palette. I paid $9.99 for this at CVS. They had sold out of “Let Them Eat Cake” and that left “Madeleines and Macaroons” and “Pardon My French”. Since the latter was loaded with gold glitter bombs and seafoam green that I knew I’d never wear, I picked “Madeleines and Macaroons”.
The packaging is solid. It has a nice, hefty, black plastic compact with a clear front to show the colors. It was safety sealed, which is more than I can say for most NYX products. The closure has a little bow molded into the plastic. Super cute, and keeping with the Parisian chic theme. There is the standard cheap sponge-tip applicator included. I don’t use those for application, but hang onto them for things like one-time clean up if I smudge something. This compact does not have a mirror, but that is pretty much to be expected of a drugstore palette.
This palette features nine neutral shades that are simply gorgeous in the pan. There is a matte cream, two chocolaty/taupe shades (one shimmery, one matte), a beautiful soft matte pink, a deep chocolate demi-matte, a shimmery beige, a shimmery gold, and two peachy browns. The texture of all but the shimmery beige is soft and buttery. Very smooth feeling. I initially bought this, because it somewhat reminded of a handful of shades from the Two Faced Chocolate Bar palette. I was especially looking forward to that soft pink.
Sadly, this palette is a complete dud. What feels like a soft, buttery shadow on the fingertips translates as chalky and clumpy on the skin. There is little to no color payoff, even over primer and a base (I used NYX jumbo pencil in Milk on my eyelids). I ended up having to go over these shadows with my Wet ‘n Wild ColorIcon “Sweet as Candy” trio to get any color whatsoever. Please see my pictures above of these shades swatched on my arm over UDPP. Those are all several swipes across the shadows and applied in two layers on my skin. One photo has flash, the other the flash is off.
If I was going the “Perfect Palette” tag, this would be, hands-down, my biggest regret. It gets one lippie – for the cute packaging.
