The colors in this palette are so pretty, and the color story seems very cohesive, but overall I find the execution to be a little bit lacking. I have been very into mauves and pinks lately, and being an Air sign myself, I was very drawn to this palette. The shades are very pale skin-friendly in my opinion, as I usually reach for softer shades for work. The shadows in this palette are very shimmery, and there are no mattes, so I am forced to pull in mattes from another palette. On the whole that is not a big deal, but it means that the palettes in the Zodiac collection aren’t really for complete eye looks. Most of the shades are fairly pigmented, but they are also super frosty. I find that the medium mauve and the lighter look very similar to each other on the skin. The pale white at the bottom has a nice frosty, almost duochrome flavor to it, so it is very neat as an inner corner highlight. The gold shade at the top actually turns into a lovely peachy-gold on the skin, so it is very nice as an all-over lid color. The wear is fine for the price, and the packaging is also acceptable for how much it costs. I will keep and use this palette, but I do still wish that it was more well-rounded.
