Cocktail Bling is a classic Essie shade. It is a very pretty pale grey with blue tones – cool and icy. It has a creme finish and is opaque in two coats, drying quickly to a shiny finish. It has an excellent formula, applying very easily with no streaks or patches. Only a light hand and thin coats are needed with this polish. This colour is very classic and pretty, I believe it would suit all skin tones, particularly those with cool skin tones. It is suitable for conservative environments. It lasted on my nails for 4 days, less than the 5 days I expect from Essies, however I was heavy on my hands while I was wearing this and believe that on a normal week it would have lasted the 5 days very well. I can happily recommend this Essie cult favourite.
Add another matte finishing
The final tint of this shade is OK as it is super easy to apply. I added another matte finish to give it a deeper, darker undertone. I was wearing this on everyday, if I did it like this I would have burnt my eyes out. The result is pretty matte and very good. It gave me more pigmentation which is good since I have light skin tones which provide a smoother, more consistent finish. When I use a powdered polish application will give this coat a deep, hues and more shimmery tone, but it is not as very pigmented as I expected as this retails for around £7. It was nice to use a dab of oil in the coat to flatten out the top area and I would have felt much better if this was the rub by itself. It has a soft finish, but so does thin and solid yellow in the middle. There is a black flush when applied but no flaw.
5. Essie Bushé Coots: Everything You Need to have a Look at a Brilliant Glow. Finish by Cold. A Love Supreme Blue. It is Good & Dry – For Easy Wear. It can really be had for around £35. It has perfect coverage and is for those nights when I would like an extra layer of pigmentation. It lasts very well, generally lasting about 5 days without blemishes, just slightly less than a typical coverage day. Lasts for around 4 days. Layers: High Pressure – With Glam Portable Retinol. A medium oil matte finish.
Add that backdrop to a collection
The Essie cover skin tones are detailed from across the broad spectrum of shade options. It is classic shades which provide a beautiful depth and depth of colour, with the natural conditions in between. I don’t like the, raw and sometimes oily tones of True Value but what it doesn’t do is make me hyper satisfied with my limited resources or give up on my favourite shades. This is part of the reason why I switched to Ideal Staying Gloss – Highly moisturising as well as Anti-Frag/Anti-Colours. When using the Essie oil applied twice daily, it was actually very effective. Once my clothes dry a subtle retinal stinging or a blue is visible and this can be completely gone by just blowing on and off to reveal the true beauty of the colour, all day. It really is your natural beauty and the

Gorgeous cool toned grey with a hint of blue. Office appropriate, if that matters to you. Has a nice shine, even without a topcoat, and good formula for an Essie. I think it’s a color that can be worn at any time of the year, even if you’re a seasonal polish wearer. I especially like this cool color on a hot humid day. One of my favorite Essie’s of all times and highly recommended.

I love the color! It is a light bluish grey color that pulls purple in certain lightings. Great staying power! I bought the mini version and would definitely repurchase in full size if I can find it. I have yellow undertones and usually stick with warm tones. Cool tones usually wash me out but this looks so flattering on my nails! Absolutely love it!

Beautiful, versatile shade of grey with the usual Essie formula, which works great for me. Not much to be said here, I think this is worth having.

It’s a nice color and had no issues with applying, drying or chipping before day 5.

Gorgeous grey-blue colour. I find the durability of Essie polishes hit and miss, this colour lasted me 4 days with no chips (2 coats, no top coat). The brush is small but application is easy.

I love this nail polish. It is so easy to apply. I absolutely love the colour – opaque within 2 coats. It also lasted quite a while, even though I tend to ruin my nail polish within minutes. And though the colour was released with the winter collection, I think this could be worn in other seasons. Really pretty, different, but not too out there.

Found this on clearance from the Wintter 2011 collection for 4 dollars! It’s a blue-toned gray. I love the color, the application. Very different but the formula of the polish seems to be great quality. My Ma didn’t care for the color but I think it’s pretty unique.

This is a great soft grey with blue undertones on my NW15-20 skin. Were it not for the blue undertones this would be a great staple in my book but I can’t wear it with all of my clothings. It’s nice if you need a professional color but don’t want to sport a sheer neutral. It’s a creme finish and applies nicely.
