Is a light weight moisturizer , with excellent delivery system ,is really for someone younger with no firming and anti wrinkle issues , the spf is an added plus I would recommended it along with the avocado eye cream . All Kiehls products are excellent ,they started as a pharmacy in the 1800’s so to be able to thrive in the sea of new cosmetics launched every year , they have to be good very good , my son swears by it and I use it too but I alternate with others .

I really like the original Ultra Facial Moisturizer but decided to give the SPF version a go this fall/winter and have been wearing it daily for the last six months.

First of all I see no reason for jar packaging this day and age but will let this slip. The price is on the higher side but not extraordinarily. No scent. It’s substantially thicker than the non spf version and leaves a shiny film behind. Didn’t affect my skin negatively in any way but the utterly bitter taste it left made using it a sheer torture. Granted I don’t eat sunscreen but I apply it around the mouth area. Somehow it spreads further. This is the second time I encounter such phenonenon and hopefully the last one too.
