I thought this would be an interesting product to try since I have been liking some of the other turnaround products. It is a lightweight lotion that I find, when worn over a generous layer of dramatically different moisturizing lotion, helps to seal in moisture and add a little luminosity. It claims to not leave any shine, but I think it leaves a lot of shine. There are several beneficial ingredients in it that I easily recognize, such as green tea extract, a peptide, sodium hyaluronate and vitamins A & C. Although I personally wouldn’t use this as my only moisturizer, my skin is dry and I get the best results layering several light layers of moisturizers and this is enough as a second layer to keep my skin feeling hydrated.
I decided to get it in both the rosy glow and golden glow to see if there was any difference between the two shades. Well, I honestly can’t tell any difference between the two unless I look at myself close up in a well lit magnifying mirror. It has tiny sparkly bits in it like a highlighter or luminizing product: the golden glow looks gold and the rosy glow looks pink. I guess the golden would help to mildly counteract redness and the rosy help give a little color to dull or pale skin. I do have a little bit of a tan right now so perhaps this winter I might see more of a difference when it has faded. I regret not saving the boxes to see if the ingredient listing matches what is on the Clinique website and if there is any variance between the two. Although I don’t think this is a must have product, I feel this is a good product to use in place of a primer as it has dimethicone listed second in the ingredients but isn’t as heavy as typical primers.
Disclaimer: I am posting this same review under both shades as I currently see no distinguishing difference between the two. I have emailed Clinique to ask for advice and will update these reviews with any helpful info they give.

I liked the night cream so I decided to try the day time version.
Pro:
Didn’t cause a breakout (I tend to react to products and this one didn’t cause any issues)
No offening perfume
Con:
This feels like pure dimethecone. Did nothing for me other than an uncomfurtable layer of sillicone on my skin. Maybe it would work as a primer under makeup but not as a moisturiser.
No rosy glow. Though I wasn’t really looking for that in a cream so maybe that’s actually a pro.

I needed a good daytime moisturizer to use hinder foundation, I also wanted to start using a primer but hated the idea of applying both. I stumbled upon this moisturizer. I really like it alot. I think it does a nice job of evening out my skin before I apply foundation. It’s pretty light and doesn’t feel heavy on. I don’t really notice a fragrance but there is a mild one. Overall very happy with this product. I really feel like it’s a primer and moisturizer in one.

I love the Turnaround product line and when this came out, I was very curious to give it a go. The size is 1.7 oz for $38 (and 10% off now at Nordstrom).
This is presented as a daytime moisturizer but it does not have an SPF so I think it works better as a primer or a light layer underneath an SPF. The texture of this is a feather-light, airy gel- a little goes a long way. It’s lightly hydrating but it should absolutely not be used as a primary moisturizer for anyone who has drier skin- it’s just not heavy enough. There are definitely silicones in the mix and the cream immediately gets absorbed into the skin, leaving the surface extremely smooth and perfect as a pre-foundation step. There are two tints available in this, but to be entirely honest, they are so light that it doesn’t matter very much. The rosy shade that I picked has the slightest bit of white-pink iridescence and the other shade, Golden Glow, is slightly more gold but when I tested them on my hand, they left no visible color at all.
This is not an essential cream but it’s still a very good cream. I find it’s amazing for a light hydration when I’m not going out in the daytime (or if I go out at night) and it makes a WONDERFUL base for foundation. It hasn’t made me break out either and I’ve been trying it out for about 2 weeks. Clinique is pushing is as a glowifying moisturizer for daytime which falls short because this has no sunscreen and as I said, is a little bit too light for someone who needs real hydration. But I do feel like this bumps my complexion up a notch so it’s an interesting and useful addition to my skin-care wardrobe. I would purchase it again for sure.
