I have sensitive acne prone and oily skin although I use the Mirena IUD which regulates the oiliness quite a bit these days however I love this moisturizer! I bought it to use on my face and neck during the winter months and it’s absolutely fabulous! It’s very moisturizing, very comfortable on my skin, doesn’t break me out, feels lightweight, is long lasting and never feels sticky, weird or tacky. It doesn’t leave behind any kind of a strange filmy feeling and it doesn’t get completely soaked into my skin which I mean in the best way possible.
I can’t recommend this moisturizer enough and I would like to see how it holds up during the warmer summer months or anywhere with really hot sunny weather during the summer because I can’t tell at the moment whether this moisturizer would be ‘too much’ in that kind of a situation yet. This particular Avene moisturizer is fragrance free, free of dyes, comes in a hygienic tube and it’s free of ‘cones’.
I have used one of Caudalie’s sorbet moisturizers that come in a tube because it has no ‘cones’ as well and it’s lightweight and quite comfortable to put on my face during the summer time.
I like Avene’s cleansers for dry skin like their cleansing milk and they have about three or four moisturizers that are ‘cone’-free which I really like. I like La Roche Posay’s Cicaplast Mains hand cream, their body lotions, body washes and a couple of their cleansers for dry skin but I really like Avene’s products on my face especially the moisturizers they make that are the ‘cone’-free ones.
