This cream is amazing! I’ve never had a moisturizer deliver such visible improvement to my skin. Brighter, smoother, firmer, reduced the appearance of pores and overall pleasure to use. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but it’s worth it.

I was excited to receive a generous sample of The Body Deli Rose Creme de la Rose (face cream) when I ordered their Palm Springs Body Wash, as I’ve been considering ordering a sample before they sent me this as it’s their #1 best seller. The Body Deli uses great ingredients n their products and the ones in this cream are lovely and extremely beneficial to aging skin. As someone in my 30s who has embraced aging, I’m happy to get older, but that doesn’t mean I have to stop feeding my skin what it needs to keep it healthy and look radiant, thus skincare being extremely important to me.
Now those woth a sensitive sniffer like myself with be pleased to know the scent of thos cream is a very very light natural rose scent, no artificial fragrances here (Thank Goodness!), that was barely even detectable with my sensitive nose. The feeling of this cream was the same on my fingertips as it was on my face, thicker than your average face cream, but heavenly buttered silk on my face. Truly, you don’t need much, a little goes a long way for the face and decollete (neck, collar bone and chest area). The reason why my sample is lasting me so long. This buttery cream made my skin throughly hydrated. As I steer towards completely organic skincare, I have not yet run into an au natural rich face cream that ACTUALLY hydrates my dry sensitive skin without breaking me out or irritating my skin at all. That’s a HUGE big deal to me. I have tried a few products from TBD and though I enjoy their Palm Springs Wash, nothing has really wowed me like this cream. I can totally understand why this is their #1 best seller. It actually sinks into my skin as opposed to sitting on top doing much of nothing. I highly recommend this cream, it’s rather pricey, but it works and that fact justifies the price for me. I will be adding their smaller size to my very minimal skincare regimen soon. I hope this review has helped anyone who reads it! :))

To sticky and tacky and leaves a dullness to my face. Not comfortable to wear.

I call this the wrinkle eraser. I’ve been using body deli products for a few years now, and I love all of them but I started using the Creme de la Rose at night a few months ago. I used to have oily skin but not so much now. Last week at the dr, he thought I was younger then him (he said he’s 40) and I’m 47. I’ve been hearing that a lot lately and I think it’s from this moisturizer.

This product is really phenomenal in terms of moisture. I live in a humid climate, but I still need to add moisture to my skin summer or winter, or else I end up with horrible dry patches and itching skin. My skin tends to break out and my pores get clogged easily. Despite going through rounds of Accutane and laser, I still get occasional pimples (which become less occasional and more frequent in the hot, humid summertime). I was looking for a product to slap on the moisture without causing me to break out or feel sticky.
I purchased Creme de la Rose after reading rave reviews about it on Saffron Rouge. I debated it for a while because the price tag was sooooo high, but with a coupon code it made it more reasonable. I love the sturdy frosted glass packaging and the heft that it provides. The Body Deli does a magnificent job of imparting elegance onto their products. I know that some will argue that jar packaging is not ideal and degrades the active ingredients, but I believe that if used within a reasonable time (six months, which is the expiration date listed on the packaging anyway), this does not necessarily translate to a waste of money. The cream is very thick and creamy, but not balmy or greasy. I do not tend to mind balmy textures, but as it is already humid, I wanted to avoid anything that may have clogged my pores. I applied a generous amount of this cream and let it sink in. That is what is so wonderful about this product- even though it is thick and creamy, it sinks into your skin overnight and leaves it feeling plumped and hydrated in the morning. I do not look or feel like a greaseball, and best of all, no acne results from this rich application. I am very happy with this product, which works better than most other products that I have tried marketed for the same issues (wrinkle prevention, extra moisture, non-comedogenic). I will most definitely continue to use this and repurchase this when I run out.

This is probably wonderful for someone with normal or combination skin. It’s a thick, naturally rose-scented cream that feels fabulously nurturing and moist going on. You can really feel all of those essential oils in there. But I have dry skin, and after an hour or so, the moisture and protection dissipate and leaves me dry. I’m going to try it again in the summertime when we have more humidity in the air, but for mid-winter it’s not enough for me.
