   Although this is a very emollient moisturizer and kinda too much for my face sometimes (my oilier t-zone in particular if I keep piling it on), this is still my favorite sunscreen. I just love everything about it. I love creams in jars (favorite being Clinique dramatically different CREAM – yellow jar, but only at night or on dry patches). Of course most creams in jars that aren’t gel creams are very rich and this is no exception. I love the smell (no added fragrance). I love the spf pa+++ and blue light protection. It feels cooling on the skin. I’m 41 with normal/combo skin. I had burned my moisture barrier with overzealous use of anti aging products and this was all I could tolerate, the only sunscreen that didn’t sting or dry me out. I put it on one month autoship. I was even reapplying it and it goes on like a dream. I’d put over my skincare and moisturizers. Now that my skin is balanced and back to its combo non sensitive self, with oily areas and normal areas, it has to be my only am moisturizer OR put over a light gel like Clinique dramatically different gel. Putting over another like the Clinique dramatically different lotion+ is too greasy. I like Clinique moisturizers ha. I then reapply every 2 hours with a designated non-moisturizer non-greasy sunscreen. I changed to every 3 month delivery now that I’m using only once per day. The texture is amazing and if used alone on combo skin it will look dewy and young. I’d pass on this if your oilier than I am. Dry/sensitive skinned people will adore this. Or on neck and chest!

   I got this as a freebie from Sephora.
   Pros: I thought I wouldn’t like the tub feature but turns out it encourages me to use more sunscreen than a squeeze tube.
   Cons: too oily for my face, and I have dry skin. I don’t like the shiny effect at all and had to use more loose powder than usual to mattify it.

   Supergoop Superscreen Daily Moisturizer SPF 40 PA+++ is a daily moisturizer that contains chemical sun filters.  Overall, the Supergood Superscreen Daily Moisturizer is a very aesthetically pleasing form of sun protection.  It applies very nicely, doesn’t pill, and has no noticeable white cast.  This sunscreen does have a very very light floral (almost like Lilac) scent to it.  I assume this is from the phenethyl alcohol along with the chemical filters.  Thankfully this scent dissipates almost immediately so it shouldn’t be an issue for most people.  The jar packaging is also something I’m not too excited about, although this doesn’t contain many antioxidants or air sensitive ingredients so it isn’t a deal breaker.  

   The Superscreen Daily Moisturizer is hydrating enough that I can use it in place of my normal moisturizer (the Drunk Elephant Protini).  I would say that this sets to a dewy finish, which people with normal-dry skin can mostly appreciate.  If you have skin that tends to be oily this could be a little too emollient, but pairing this with a long wearing foundation and setting powder will help prevent skin from looking oily.  I do have a feeling on super hot summer days when the air is humid this will be far too hydrating.  On days like that I will reach for a more mattifying sunscreen or sweat/ water resistant sunscreen with a higher SPF rating.  Definitely a sunscreen geared towards dry skin for daily use that will provide adequate spf protection!
