I first tried out the Complete Comfort Cream( for sensitive skin ) and it was nice but not enough moisture. This on the other hand is thicker, absorbs quick and feels more luxurious but not too much difference than the CCC. Its a lovely smell and consistency though it smells more plant like than CCC. Id recommend getting a sample. It does look more shiney on the face than the Comfort cream. i am a bit dissapointed because i thought itd be more moisturizing. My skin still feel a tight in the cheeks and under my nose using this. Ive been spraying fix plus after application and it helps my face feel less tight. Both of these creams are about the same for me other than the texture, color(CC is pink and this is white) and smell. This cream is not bad but it isnt the best so i gave it 3 lippies. I use this in the morning over bp and the CC with AHA + at night. I still like the CC just a tiny bit more because it slightly smells better. I want to try out the lightful C cream and see how that one performs. These 2 were very dissapointing. This one being the most dissapointing.
Edit= i returned this. After experimenting with half my face of Complete Comfort and half with this. The CC side was less dry and also the side with the Studio Moisture felt a bit itchy and just didnt feel as good.I took it back.
FIRST AID BEAUTY ULTRA REPAIR CREAM Is far more superior, i always go back to this.

This is a decent moisturizer for day (if you also use sunscreen or a foundation/CC with sunscreen) and it’s very nice at night too. Absorbs into my skin nicely, leaving it feeling hydrated and plumped, but not greasy. I initially bought the “Sized to Go” tube to take travelling with me. It’s $14 CDN for 30 mls….a pretty decent price. When I went to buy the full size, which is a jar packaging, I was shocked to learn that it’s $40 for 50 mls. So, for $28, I can get more than TWICE the amount of product I’d get for $40 for the full size!!! So, if you like this stuff, consider buying the travel sizes. For those who do care about this, it is more hygienic and you can still cut open the almost empty tube to get out every last bit (I do this with just about everything….I hate waste!)

I really wanted to like this. But I’m sending it back. I liked the smell, I liked the feel of it when I first put it on. But within an hour, it was gone and my face felt even dryer. I would lather it on before bed also and the next morning my face was extremely dry.

This cream was an awesome surprise as I wasn’t expecting to even like it, and I ended up loving it! It feels wonderfully moisturizing on my dry/mature skin, and leaves behind a smooth canvas ready for foundation. It helps soften the fine lines around my eyes and provides long lasting moisture that spans the better part of the day. I had gotten a travel size as a gift, and within a week, I had ordered the full-sized jar. I have read reviews saying this cream is super thick, but after having used a zillion other “rich” moisturizers, this cream seems very pleasantly textured…not too thick, not too thin. It isn’t greasy at all, and dries down to a satin finish. It doesn’t sit on my skin but it doesn’t disappear either, I’m left with a good balance of moisture and luminosity without looking or feeling oily, but I don’t have to keep reapplying to get the level of moisture I desire (my dry skin “eats” a lot of moisturizer…they just vanish and I’m left feeling dry again, but I do not have that problem with Studio Moisture). Previously, I had been using PerriconeMD’s Face Finishinh Moisturizer under my foundation, but it eventually became too harsh for my skin and started leaving me splotchy, dry, and stinging. I was so sad because I thought it was “the one”! I figured I’d have to search forever to find a new favorite, but thank goodness I found this product and it was a win from day one. It keeps flakes at bay even when I use my AHA peels, and it has allowed me to wear foundations that were previously too drying for my skin such as KA Sensual Skin Fluid. During colder months, I’ll likely still have to layer it with my face oil, but I’ll cross that bridge when the time comes ( I get insanely dry during winter). My only gripe is, I wish the full size came in a tube instead of a jar. The travel size is so much more sanitary because of it’s tube packaging, plus it stays fresher! It does have a fragrance much like MAC Fix+, but it fades quickly. Huge thumbs up and a must-have for me!

Guys, this cream is expensive. But I’m not going to lie it is awesome. I am 27 years old. Already I suffer from fine lines in various parts of my face especially under my eyes and this line weird lingering in the middle of my forehead. I’ve been asking myself what I’m doing wrong I do not smoke I do not drink I do not party. Then I remembered I suffered with eczema as a child. Also I have very dry skin. So while we all like to cake on makeup, it don’t look so good if you have dry skin. By the grace of our Savior I found Mac studio moisture cream. Yes, it’s at a whopping $30 American dollars. It is worth every penny and a savior for a drieree like myself. I must use this cream under my makeup. This cream really hydrates my face for hours like no other I have ever tried. I have tried so many different moisturizers they have failed me in my life. This really pack a punch. Now my foundation looks dewy and beautiful. Even with a ton of powder on top it somehow just melts together. The package is OK it’s a standard jar for cream you really don’t get a lot of product depending on how much you use daily. Will I continue to buy this? Of course I wouldn’t have it any other way honey. Also since using this product I do not have the visible fine lines anymore in the agonizing line and it is on my forehead has disappeared. This stuff is even better than my vivo Dead Sea moisturizer.

Pretty packaging. Lasts years, there’s a lot of product in the tub. a very average moisturiser, you’d be better of getting a cheap drugstore one as it would work just as well as this. I purchased this cream when I had acne and awfully dry skin, at the time it was useless. Now that my skin is clear and not as dry it works reasonably but it’s nothing amazing. I used to find it too greasy and uncomfortable on my skin but since my skin has got better I quite like how it feels on my skin. Overall I won’t be purchasing this again, it’s very mediocre and should really only be worth a fiver or less for what it is.

I bought this in the travel size to try while looking for a winter moisturizer. This is a good face and hand moisturizer. It absorbs quickly and leaves my skin soft without any greasiness. I use it at night before bed but it works well under makeup as well if I need any extra moisture. I’ve been mixing strobe cream with my foundation and that usually does the trick but I can see maybe needing a little something extra on really cold days when the heat is on. My only complaint that might keep from repurchasing is the scent. It’s strong and a bit dated. It reminds me of something I’d find in an Este Lauder product or another more mature brand. Strobe cream has a light citrusy scent that dissapates pretty quickly but this is pretty overpowering and hangs around until you wash it off. It’s pretty annoying and not good for anyone sensitive or prone to headaches. This hasn’t caused any break outs so far and has some decent ingredients but I really wish they offered this in a fragrance free version or at least toned down a bit. A full sized tube would also be nice. Seriously Mac a jar?
*Update*
I recently sampled then purchased the Cover Fx Custom Cover Drops and this is hands down the best moisturizer to use with that ( as well as the Ardency inn brand) with or without Strobe Cream mixed in for some brightening. It mixes well and the texture gives just the right amount of slip for blending and coverage. I get custom coverage that doesn’t get blotchy or melt away after the moisturizer absorbs. Because this doesn’t get greasy on my face after an hour nothing is shifting around and my TM stays put with a little finishing powder. I’m still really put off by the scent but the ability to use this as a TM and cut out other products ( I just swap this for sunscreen when needed) is super convenient and easy on my combo skin. I can’t give it 5 lippies because of the jackass full sized packaging and the smell but I’ll continue to purchase the travel size and not breath too deeply until I find something comparable.

I bought this in the 1 oz travel size for $10 to try it out before committing to buy the larger jar. I love this moisturizer. It feels like nothing is on my skin. It is not heavy at all but moisturizes very well. It does not break me out. I wear this under my MAC face primer and MAC pro Longwear foundation and it looks great! I plan to only purchase this in the travel tube because it is cheaper (a little goes a long way so I think it will last a long time) and it is in a tube unlike the bigger size that is in a jar. I love the smell of this cream. It is not loud or overpowering. It is very pleasant and subtle. It kind of reminds me of a beachy like smell.

Buy this in the 1oz “travel” tube for $10 since it’s a better value, and the packaging is more hygienic if jar packaging is a turn off for you. This moisturizer works well for my dry/eczema prone skin during the coldest, driest winter months. I use it day and night, and it never has broken me out or irritated my skin. Doesn’t have a lot of fancy skincare ingredients, but it does its job well.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this for under makeup. Hydrates completely, sinks in and doesn’t make me overly shiny.
