I have sensitive, dry skin. Finding an oil blend without irritating essential oils or added fragrance is tough! After my beloved Jordan Samuel oil was discontinued, I decided to try Fortify. I adore Liquid Gold, the brand’s moisturizer, and have repurchased it three times. But this oil…man. It works fine as a booster for my moisturizer. The serious issue is the smell. It is overwhelming and honestly keeps me from using it! It smells like decay.

I have combo dehydrated skin and this oil might be too heavy to use in the mornings. It also breaks me out if using plenty so I try to add just a single drop to my night moisturizer in order to boost my hydration levels. It does leave plumpy skin but takes forever to sink in.
–What sort of pore rep will keep me hydrated? How much will it change the texture of your face for good or bad? Is there a drop to actually leave on your face, if so, why, you’ll know.
–Any other lipstick texture is different? Pore force changes heavily with each new release of cosmetics. Will my lip curl or lose grip on the lips on display after taking a peek?
–The easiest way to have lipstick wash smoothly after release is to apply on the “frame” of your lips with a liquid before it’s hard. As the lip swells up you should gently lift your lip or bottle and continue applying the lipstick.

I added this oil (very small packaging) to my routine to add moisture, I found that the moisturizing level of this product is low. My skin still felt parched after using a couple drops. It does absorb really quickly and there’s not really a film on your skin… Not sticky or oily. People with oilier skin or normal skin might like this. However for dehydrated-dry-oily-combo skin, it might not help that much. I found that my skin was not that moisturized and needed more. Do take note that this smell really bad. I was really put off by it. However it’s good that it’s fragrance free, less irritating ingredients for our skin. IMO you can find better moisturizing oils, I wouldn’t repurchase.

This makes a good moisture-booster for my night face cream. The oil hasn’t broken me out or irritated my skin, and my face feels soft after use. After a month of use I haven’t noticed any long-term skin improvements besides moisturized skin—no more, no less.
Warning: The oil smells faintly like mayonnaise. This is a good thing in that it means no additional fragrances have been added if you’re allergic to them. But I wouldn’t mix this with any fragranced products that would clash unpleasantly with salad dressing.

I am new to skincare and I love finding new things to try as my skin continues to look better and better each day. Who knew taking care of your skin would be so fun? One thing I love is finding niche products that work and when I found Stratia I was so EXCITED to try. I couldn’t decide what I wanted so I bought everything!
So, I have only been using this for a few days…ok so maybe 1 day, but this stuff is AMAZING!
I have combination skin and have always been afraid to use anything oil based in the morning. BUT, I still want to take care of my moisture barrier. I bought this to mix in with my niacinamide. I’m happy to report that this sinks into skin, doesn’t leave you oily and your skin feels like SILK!!! ACTUAL SILK!!! It’s been one day and I already love this stuff! I mean my skin just looked healthier and much more smooth after 1 use. I didn’t get any oilier throughout the day and I noticed it kept my makeup nice and fresh as it hydrated my skin. Even though I’m oily my face can become dehydrated as a result of my primers and powders but this kept me hydrated and plump. I can’t wait to see what the long term results are.
I was a little surprised at how small the bottle was. It’s teeny, but a little goes a long way and you don’t need much at all. Maybe 4 or 5 drops for your whole face. The ONLY downside is this stuff smells…BAD. It smells kind of like fish or meat. I know. But don’t let that stop you from using it. Added fragrances can irritate and break out skin and sometimes nature doesn’t always smell like roses and flowers. This is all natural no fillers or anything. The ingredients are as follows:
Camellia japonica (Camellia) Seed Oil, Borago officinalis (Borage) Seed Oil, Perilla ocymoides (Perilla) Seed Oil, Squalane, Simmondsia chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Sclerocarya birrea (Marula) Seed Oil, Calophyllum inophyllum (Tamanu) Oil, Vaccinium macrocarpon (Cranberry) Seed Oil, Tocopherol
