Crap. Not moisturising enough for dry skin, and too thick for oily skin. It made my skin break out, mostly closed comedones that can be a pain in the arse when trying to remove them – lanced and physically pulled or squeezed out. Stopped using it for a bit, my skin improved, gave it another go and bam closed comedones everywhere. Really disappointing.

I use this as a primer and it is okay. I wouldn’t be using this as my main moisturizer, as I find it not that hydrating. However, under make-up, it does wonders. It creates a little bit of sticky layer so the foundation layers really well on it. The price is nice, but I don’t love the packaging. The pot that (now) it comes in it’s not that hygienic. I don’t know if I’ll buy this again, we’ll see. But if you’re in need for a primer for oily skin, that layers beautifully and does control the oils through the day, this one is a nice catch.

I’ve been reading the reviews for this moisturizer and I’m honestly surprised at how much people seem to hate this product. I have insanely sensitive and oily skin and this moisturizer is the best gel you can find. I find that my skin is less oily after application and it absorbs really quickly. You don’t need a lot, which is good considering the size of the container is quite small. I have this moisturizer in the small tub, not the tube, and I believe the body shop reformulated the line in the process of changing their packaging. It smells really nice too and doesn’t make me break out, so I’m content with it and I will be repurchasing it when I run out.

Makes my face greasy right after application. Doesn’t seem to absorb all the way. Not mattifying at all, leaves a shiny finish, contrary to what it’s advertised for. Trying to use it as a body moisturiser, it’s too greasy for my liking.

I started using this line (cleanser, day cream and night cream) after I found the tea tree a bit drying and my skin looks more radiant. It is some nice, light moisture that doesn’t feel oily or tight. The one drawback is the “shine control” is non-existent. It actually does make my skin shiner actually and I find myself using more powder.

So, I sometimes get a bit oily on my forehead and t-zone after a long day, but this product actually makes it worse. It doesn’t moisturize at all, making my foundation and primer cling on dry forehead flakes, and after two hours my entire face is gliding around and looking like a greasy frying pan. No matter the different combos i’ve tried underneath and on top of this, the result always comes out the same.
Don’t spend your money on this!

This has not been mattifying at all for me, I prefer the tea tree skin clearing lotion. It does have some spf which is an advantage I guess, I dont need a lot so it’s fine. I do enjoy the smell and find it refreshing and it hasnt done my skin any harm so far.

Shine Control my buttt! I have an oily T-zone so I’m constantly on the look out for shine control or mattifying products (moisturizers in particular.) An associate at my local Body Shop store recommended it as a stronger shine control moisturizer for the winter season. I put it on right after washing my face in the morning. It has a really nice texture, not too thin but not too thick. Not even a couple hours later my forehead and nose are puddled with oil. The outer areas of my face that tend to produce less oil loved it though. It’s a good source of moisture, but I would recommend it only to those with drier skin. I’ll stick to their tea tree line!

i always wanna try some skincare stuff from this company. however , im not SO IMPRESSED with this one but it’s not too bad tho , i would repurchase it if i have enough money bcs it’s kinda pricey for a small tube. i like the consistency of it and the amount of spf in it just perfect for daily basics and this does slowly reduce my oiliness on my face which is good and leaves my skin feels good throghout the day , i ♡ it !

I honestly love this product! It doesn’t matter how the packaging looks. This product works for me because my face is dried out at the moment because I have been over washing my face. I put it on, it works, my face doesn’t sting and it does what it tells you; it moisturizes my face! It is very inexpensive but I have seen better prices but not for this type of quality
