I am hopelessly in love with this serum and with Root Science. Both have completely changed the health of my skin. I have less breakouts (after an initial detox period which is normal when switching to totally clean skincare products) and dryness and a more even, glowing skin tone. I also use Cleanse, Tonic, Polish, Reborn and Detox and they’re all incredible. Root Science has turned my daily skincare routine into a luxury experience I look forward to. This is a review for Root Science Restore serum. I have been using this and the Root Science toner Tonic for three weeks. I had high hopes for the line as it is an organic skincare line that seemed like they really cared about the ingredients that went into their products and their effectiveness. After three weeks of use twice a day my pores are clogged and my face has broken out all over, even places I usually never break out. I’ve stopped using both products and am hoping my face will clear up sometime soon. I reviewed the product on the company’s website but they censored my review, choosing not to post it, which I think is incredibly deceiving and not a good business practice from a company that says they care about their customers. I wish I had actually seen fair reviews of this product when I was researching it. Needless to say, I won’t be repurchasing this or any other product from Root Science.

This is yet another fabulous product by Root Science. This product is one of four serums formulated to hydrate and repair damaged skin. This serum was conceived to address anti-aging and it certainly hit its mark. This does a great job of moisturizing and plumping skin. Visually, I can see the difference in my skin when I use it. It is housed in a dark Miron glass bottle with a hygienic pump and looks as classy as it feels. The only reason I would not repurchase this product is that there are two other serums by Root Science that I would rather splurge on. This is still a great buy, but at the $80 price tag, I am going to stick to the two serums that deliver miracle results overnight, the Triple R Serum and the Bare Defense Serum.
