I was given a sample of this cream by a friend who is an Arbonne rep. I tried it on because of its relatively high SPF level. It’s a light weight day cream that smells really nice (like orange peels) and goes on easily under makeup. But the active ingredients in the cream irritated the area around my eyes and within 1-2 hours my skin felt dry and itchy. This is NOT for people with sensitive dry skin. There are too many tingly active ingredients in it and it’s too drying.

I tried samples of all of the RE9 line including this Day Cream – and the Extra-Moisture Day Cream (and the Night and eye creams). This day cream is medium weight and somewhat occlusive (not for those with oily skin or acneic). For my dry skin it is fine – not a HG but a very nice smelling cream (thanks to essential oils) and not too heavy.

Arbonne is overpriced though -as they build-in sales comissions for their reps.

I recently tried this and I won’t order it again. I am 30 and have normal/slightly dry skin and I felt like this did not give me enough moisture. My skin felt tight and dry shortly after putting it on. I am a believer in giving things a decent try so I wore it regularly for a week and had a noticeable increase in areas of dryness. I also had some trouble with the pump at first but that could be chalked up to user error. 🙂
