This is cream is really, really special. I love most Mychelle products but this is their best. It makes your skin look really youthful and even toned. If you are having any redness this calms it down. The smell is addicting. I only gave it 4 stars out of 5 because it’s not marked as anti aging but it has a lot of healthy ingredients that it probably is. Great for using over your anti aging serums. I used this after I had a face laser done and it was the only moisturizer that took away my redness and I was trying dozens because I was badly inflamed. This is one of my favorites.

In love!!!!!!!! It smells amazing, and I did not find the scent bothersome at all. If anything it was comforting and made me feel happier. My skin quickly absorbed this stuff. I used it after the pumpkin peel and cranberry mud mask, and it just sank right in and when I woke up in the morning I had glowing soft skin! I am extremely pleased with everything in this line I’ve tried out so far. I know they have an unscented version of this, but I have not tried it, and since this was the sample I got and I had amazing results with it.

In my mission to switch to organic skin care, I discovered the MyChelle line. The Pumpkin Renew Cream is my all around moisturizer. It works great on my combination and acne prone skin. It isn’t heavy or greasy, and it absorbs well. I hate skin creams that seem to just sit on your face. This cream is my morning and night cream and even works well around the eyes without any irritation. Not only does my skin look amazing, but my blemishes are few and far between now. I love MyChelle.

I picked this product up at Mother’s Market about a month ago and I’m lovin it! It’s made with organic shea butter and pumpkin seed oil. I’ve tried a bunch of facial moisturizers and have spent quite a bundle on each of them as well from department stores, etc… Recently, I’ve been on this organic-hype and I tried this out and to my surprise it’s been working wonderfully. It leaves my skin feeling soft and supple and gives me kind of a natural glow too! I can always smell that hint of pumpkin throughout the day. No breakouts! No oily residue! It can be used in the day and night! If it had spf mixed into it, it would be even better!

I see there’s a reformulated version and this one…so I will leave a review on each as I don’t not know which one is which. I love this product! Provides perfect hydration. A lil goes a long way. I use day and night. I have a very oily tzone and normal/combo cheeks sensitive skin. My skin is particular and does great with is lotion. When I use at night, I DO NOT wake up with an oil slick on my face. When I use duing the day, makes for a smooth, soft canvas for makeup.

I didn’t know they reformulated it. Not sure which I’ve been using, since I bought some on ebay and some on other sites. Either way, I love this lotion. I use it every night, and when I wake up, my skin feels beautifully hydrated – almost plump – and soft, with no residue, or clogged pore feeling. Thus far, this is my HG night moisturizer. Any skin irritations I might have had after taking off my makeup seem to be calm by morning. It doesn’t break me out.
The only bad thing is that it does not smell delicious or like pumpkin pie, as other people have stated. My husband hates the smell, and says I smell like an old lady. Since I only wear it at night, I don’t mind so much, but I will definitely be trying the unscented one.

I’m a huge fan of Mychelle, and this product is no exception. Let me break it down for you:
1) Packaging:
Nothing too exciting. Keeps the product fresh and it’s easy to use. Since it’s a jar that you have to scoop into, probably not the most sanitary. The website states that the cinnamon oil ingredient acts as a natural antiseptic, so perhaps this helps with that issue. I do like that you can access every last bit of the product. And you can recycle the jar!
2) Appearance/Scent:
The cream is a medium-weight, smooth creamy consistency. Light mint/pistacio green color. The scent is mildly warm and spicy. When I looked at the ingredients and saw clove, cinnamon, and nutmeg oils- I think that’s what gives it the pleasant scent. There is also an unscented version if this bothers you.
3) How it feels:
This is the best part about it. Very nourishing and hydrating. It does feel a tiny bit greasy when you first apply it, but it quickly absorbs into your skin and leaves it feeling soft, supple, and moist. Makeup glides on easily after applying this cream. It is full of antioxidants, and it just makes my skin feel healthy, dewy, and soft! For me it did not cause any break-outs, irritation, or clogged pores. Just very soothing hydration and nourishment!
4) Price:
Retails for $25.86 for 1.2 oz. They often has sales and specials, so you can find a better deal. Since you use so little of the product, this can easily last several months. For the quality of the ingredients and how well it works, I think it’s a great value.

I used this twice with the Mychelle pumpkin cleanser but it left my skin feeling taut. Luckily I only bought a sample size in a gift set as the full size seems rather expensive.

Been using this for about two weeks and am really loving it. Great texture, looks/feels great on my skin, hasn’t caused any breakouts. In fact, I had a few small blemishes on my face the first night I applied it, and by the next morning they had dried/faded considerably. I was stunned, because it’s rare a moisturizer would have that sort of affect on my skin. The only negative I have found is the scent–which I love!–but it seems to irritate my sensitive eyes. I’ve had to start applying a different moisturizer around my eye area in order to avoid burning/redness/watering eyes that look swollen in the morning. I think this is more an issue with my eyes being insanely sensitive than it is an issue with the product itself, but fair warning for other sensitive-eye folk out there–the scent is pretty powerful. If I repurchase (which is looking likely), I will probably try the unscented version. Can’t wait to try more MyChelle products.

Not quite as moisturizing as I would like but I love the texture of this moisturizer. It absorbs very well and does not cause any breakouts. On the other hand, it doesn’t eliminate break outs either. Overall a nice facial moisturizer but am still searching for something better.
peacefulThrushe0
Like it very much! Firms my skin a bit, clears imperfections a bit. I’ve used about 5 of them, will keep buying.

Just bought this so I can’t review it for it’s long term effects yet, but my first impression is, “meh”. As I applied for the first time it starting balling up – yuck. Maybe I was over-rubbing it into my skin? I also felt it didn’t sink quickly and felt just a bit greasy (shea butter?). And finally, I do not like the smell at all, it’s way too strong and weird. I’ll give it some time and see if I fall in love tho. If not, I’m going back to Sephora’s Instant Moisturizer.

This moisturizer is the only reason I can motivate myself to wash my face! It smells absolutely amazing, but to say it smells like pumpkin doesn’t really describe it fully at all. There is also a cool, fresh element in its scent that nicely balances the deeper spicy pumpkin note, almost like a fresh cut grass smell? I have combination skin with an oily T-zone. I’m totally lazy about cleansing and moisturizing because I don’t wear makeup every day, and I don’t have issues with dryness or acne… but now that I’ got this heavenly moisturizer, I actually look forward to washing my face and applying it afterwards!
I was disappointed with the container, however. It is deceptively large for how little moisturizer it holds, and it’s hollow/lightweight in a way that makes it feel cheap. Also the lid doesn’t sit flush with the tub. Not a huge deal, but a bit annoying for such spendy moisturizer.
Also, while I’ve never had it ball up on my face like another reviewer mentioned, I do notice that it accumulates around the threading on the container and gets all gummed up and bears an uncanny resemblance to boogers. It’s a pain to wipe them away all the time, and it seems like a lot of the actual cream gets wasted this way.

I really love the smell of this product! It has that mild, pumpkin spice scent that really reminds me of the Fall season and of comforting things. I tried this product about 3 years ago and I could only use it at night with my oily skin because it was too much for during the day and I thought it made me break out. I also didn’t give it a fair shot, though, and a myriad of other things were contributing to my breakouts at the time.
So, I went on Accutane shortly after that and tried this product again and I used the unscented version as a day moisturizer and the Daily Repair cream at night when my skin was super dry from the Accutane. That worked well for dry skin. Then I stopped using Mychelle and switched to 100 Percent Pure’s line of skin care and really recommend that brand because it’s free of any harmful, potentially irritating ingredients. But, alas, they don’t offer pumpkin scented moisturizers, so while I’m on my 2nd round of Accutane, I went back to Mychelle.
I can only use this cream at night because it seems to ball up after I apply it and rub the Mychelle Cream makeup in over it. I’ve found this happens with all of the Mychelle creams I’ve tried. The moisturizer first feels nice and velvety on my skin, but if I touch it in any way, it balls up and little flakes of it come off. This happened with the Daily Repair cream, as well. So, if you’re applying mineral powder foundation, it’s not quite as obvious because you buff most of the flakes off, in the end, but it’s an annoying thing to happen. This also happened the first time I tried the Pumpkin Renew cream when my face was oily.
Oh well, I use it at night and use the 100 Percent Pure Lycopene cream during the day and my skin seems happy. The pumpkin renew cream is gentle on the skin and seems to hydrate quite well. It doesn’t seem to break my skin out… The Cream foundation, however, seems to cause acne for me, though… I’ll have to update my review on that.
I’d recommend this moisturizer for a variety of skin types. My mother uses and loves this product and she has very sensitive, acne prone, and oily skin and uses it day and night with no adverse reaction.
It’s especially fun for the Fall and Winter months!

I don’t know what the *old* formulation was like, but this one works great for me. It is very soothing after any of the peels – which are all also good products (though I imagine those with sensitive skin might want to stay away, as the peels are strong). My skin is oily, and I used to have breakouts – until I started using Mychelle C Serum. Having success with that product, I decided to try others from the Mychelle line. This Pumpkin Renew Cream, applied conservatively, adds just the right amount of moisture without making me look oilier than I already am. Recommended!

This review is for the recently reformulated PRC. I *loved* the old version with its silky texture and delicious-I-cannot-wait-to-put-it-on smell. The smell was awsome and a sensory part of the product that I have liked in other Mychelle products.
I am so disappointed with this cream.
It has a thicker, smooth but not silky texture that does sink in after a minute (I have combo skin). This would be a better choice for the cooler months as the cream is very rich and makes my face feel…well insulated. My pores feel plugged up, but to be fair, this cream has cause zero breakouts, so that is good news. The smell is herbally and rather cloying, but it does go away after a while. This light green cream is nothing special, but as a replacement for the once-fabulous original, it sucks.
BTW: There is also an unscented new PRC, but I will not be trying it. Mychelle has recently reformulated many of its products in response to some customer survery conducted at the end of last year. I like this company and their mission, but to say I am disappointed in this cream is bad, but losing the original cream is much worse :-/
I am taking this back to the store.

I really like this face cream. I have combo/oily skin and it doesn’t make my face feel oily. It does a great job at giving the right amount of moisture for me, making my skin soft, and evening out my skin tone. It has a heavenly scent – you can definitely smell the pumpkin in it. The consistency is quite runny, and I made the mistake of opening the container for the first time while not holding it straight – so a lot ended up spilling out. I like that this company uses natural ingredients and does not do animal testing. I will repurchase.

Got a few samples from the spa, loved it so much I went out and bought a full size. I have super super dry, acne prone skin. (very rare, I know it SUCKS) It moisturizes and doesn’t leave my skin oil or makes it break out. My only complaint is the packaging. I wish it was in a pump, or came with a scoop. The tub it comes in doesn’t close very well, and I don’t like the plastic. I know it’s recycled but it still looks cheap.

This is a phenomenal moisturizer. I have the worst time finding moisturizers that don’t break me out or leave my skin dry and rough. This one is just perfect for me. After using it for less than a week, it transformed my skin from the aforementioned dry and rough to velvety smooth! It smells predominantly of honeysuckle and pumpkin, but my husband reports it tastes more like the cinnamon oil. 😉 Minus one lippie from this otherwise perfect product for the wretched packaging. It’s in a flimsy little plastic tub, and maybe it’s just my jar, but I find it very tricky to get the lid on correctly. I’d rather not have to dip my finger into my moisturizer, but I won’t go back to another product. Is it worth transferring to another pump container? Hmm…
