I’ve been using this moisturizer for about five years, and it’s really worked for me. My skin is oily (more combination in the winter), and this doesn’t break me out. The lotion is lightweight and non-greasy, and I like the SPF (wish it were higher, though). For dry skin, it probably isn’t hydrating enough.

I have only been using this for about a month, but I am really loving this moisturizer right now. For reference, My skin is combination, with little to no acne (usually hormonal when it happens). In the cooler months (I live in SW Florida, so I cant really call it winter) i get dry and flaky, and as of right now I have been leaning more towards oily and definitely sweaty. I only use this in the am (mixed with a small amount of Sephora’s CC cream and 1-2 drops of cover fx custom cover drops) and so far I am loving the results. My makeup has actually been staying put throughout the day and although I inevitably still have to blot every few hours, my face isn’t turning into a huge, oily mess like it was before I started using this. I can definitely see how this might dry out my skin if i used it both morning and night, but at night I use a rich moisturizer so I haven’t had that issue yet. I’m sure when the humidity starts dying down around here I will probably retire this till it starts coming back again. So, all in all I really, really like this moisturizer. If anything, they should change the name because daily hydration is definitely a bit misleading. I’d say steer clear of this if you have dry skin and/or live in a dry climate. However, If you have combo/oily skin and you live somewhere humid, I would definitely give it a try!

As someone with a rather oily T-zone, this is my favorite SPF face moisturizer. I do wish the SPF was higher on this – maybe SPF 30, but I assume that might compromise the lightweight and oil-free consistency of this product. I do pre-moisturize the occasional dry spots around my mouth and my cheeks before applying this moisturizer as it’s not really all that hydrating, especially for dry skin. However, I’ve yet to experience the flaking of this product that other reviews have, even during the colder and dryer winter months.
This moisturizer tends to absorb/evaporate rather quickly, which I’m appreciative of on the days I’m inclined to apply primer, foundation, powder, etc. It seems to play well with Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer as far as I can tell and it doesn’t hasten oil production in my T-zone (although it doesn’t minimize it either). I assume the SPF 15 is effective, although my forehead is perpetually darker than the rest of my face (which I understand is a common phenomenon). This isn’t the best moisturizer for more active days, as it tends to dissolve rather quickly with any bit of perspiration.
I love the packaging on this – the pump dispenser is located at the base so that product always flows towards the dispenser. However, you will have to manually unscrew the dispenser when you’ve nearly depleted the product, but I consider that a minor inconvenience for all that I enjoy about this product.
Despite the moderately inflated price of $36 USD for 1.4 ounce, I am currently on my second tube. I can’t say I have many staples, but this is one of them.
EDIT: Finally experienced this product balling up after using in it conjunction with Revlon Photo Ready Perfecting Primer. Not a huge nuisance yet, as I’m not committed to this primer, but I’ve taken away a lippie as it was quite irritating!

This moisturizer might be ok for summer or more humid areas but when I used it during the winter, this moisturizer did absolutely NOTHING. My skin was constantly drying out that I had to put on an extra cream on top of this one just so my skin wouldn’t be flaking off.

somehow this product ended up being my first choice daily moisturizer, product is far from over the top but it is very difficult to find good products for extra oily skin and everytime I try a different product my face goes super oily and my pores look huge, I don’t love it, I have really tried to find a cheaper and better moisturizer but no luck yet! I like it because it is lightweight ( moisturizer effect not intense at all but does a fair job and I prefer to use a more powerful moisturizer at night), no breakouts, softer skin, makes my makeup easier to apply and is gentle on my sensitive, red, uneven and oily skin. Even though I know there must be a better one out there I havent found a good substitute yet but I got one recently that got me pretty impressed and Im giving it a couple more days to see if it is the one! Its Hydroserol (Dermaprot) and I will write a review soon. I have tried Origins, Clinique, Benefit, Elta MD, Korres and Mary Kay among others. They are good also but when I compare I still prefer Boscia.

I only purchased this because it was 50% off at ULTA. I did use the whole bottle because I don’t like to waste products and here are my overall thoughts:
Pros: has SPF 15 which protects the skin
formulated without parabens, sulfates, preservatives, fragrance, dyes, and phalates
nice packaging
Cons: unpleasant smell
expensive pricetag
didn’t really see or feel any prevention from signs of aging
I won’t be repurchasing since BOSCIA IS NOT A CRUELTY FREE BRAND and it’s not worth the hefty pricetag

This is a tad expensive for how little it gives you, but it gives a great matte finish for wearing under makeup and most importantly it doesn’t leave my face too oily by end of day. Since it’s oil free it won’t be that moisturizing, so I think what I’m gonna do is use this on the acne prone parts of my face, and use another moisturizer on the parts that don’t tend to break out as much.

This would be a good product for someone with oily/sensitive skin wanting spf in a lotion as it dries matte very quickly. It is a very thin lotion that goes on easily and dries fast. I wanted to like this product as my skin didn’t react to it or break out, but it was not moisturising enough for me (it sinks into skin/dries very quickly, and then my skin just felt like I hadn’t used any moisturiser). It wasn’t bad (and others will love it) but just not thick/moisturising enough for me.

Received a sample size with an Ulta gift bag filled with samples. Perhaps it’s an issue with the sample squeeze tube, but one small squeeze and a lot of product comes out. I didn’t like this because I felt like I was wasting product 🙁
The texture is light (though, I prefer creams). For an SPF product, it doesn’t smell like one (compared to Neutrogena sunblock formula). The product is what it is – a light moisturizer with SPF, nothing amazing or face-changing for me.
The scent was what bothered me the most. I can’t pinpoint what scent it is, but it reminded me of nature/plants. It wasn’t a perfume/sweet scent. It wasn’t a clean/fresh scent. I just know it wasn’t pleasant =P

If you have oily skin or deal with makeup meltdown because of it (or due to your makeup and moisturizer maybe), this cream really knocks out that problem for me. I don’t know why or how or what ingredient is so effective, but it really keeps oil at bay so well and my makeup really stays put with this underneath it. Negatives are that for a 1.4 oz tube, I don’t see why it can’t cost a bit less than $36 at Sephora. Put it in an actual bottle and make it more cost effective and I would be totally sold. Also it is not ideal for this time of year. It wouldn’t be best for dry winter skin if you have it; not really hydrating enough. Still an impressive cream though for how well it banishes oil. Please someone just lower the price or make it more worth the price by offering it in a larger size.
