I picked this up in my local ASDA Living store as I wanted to try out a new daily moisturiser which contained an SPF. The price was the main thing that appealed to me – it was only £4.99 – and I really wasn’t expecting much from it. But WOW, I couldn’t have been more surprised!
First off, this is quite heavily scented which I normally don’t like in a facial moisturiser. My skin is stupidly sensitive and has been known to react to the mildest of products, so I was a little reluctant on first application when I noticed this smelt of gingerbread. However, my skin didn’t react at all. In fact it took to it really well, leaving it feeling very moisturised but without the sticky or greasy feeling you sometimes get with an SPF face cream.
For the price, the bottle is incredibly good quality too. It has a very substantial feeling pump to it, which dispenses just the right amount, and although it seems quite small the product itself lasts for a long while. I got a good 2 months use out of this which is amazing when you consider how much it cost. The only slight downside is it’s completely opaque so you can’t tell how much is left inside.
The cream itself is quite light, so if your preference is for a heavier feeling moisturiser this might not be for you. It applied really nicely to my skin and sank in well too, without the need to keep working it into the skin for long periods of time. Once applied the scent didn’t linger and I felt like my skin felt much smoother and softer too over time.
I would definitely repurchase this, made all the more tempting by the fact that ASDA often have a 3 for 2 offer on this range. Before this I’d never used any of the nspa products before, but based on my experiences with this I would definitely consider trying others in the future.
