You can purchase this on the Sephora.com website for $50, and it comes with 40 g or 1.41 oz of product which is a pretty hefty price tag for that amount. I bought this on a whim because it has an interesting method of delivery. The product is rolled up into balls and comes with a spatula. You scoop a ball and then crush it between you fingers and apply to the face. The product is white in color and smells powdery. I don’t particularly like the smell, but those sensitive to fragrance should steer clear of this. It claims to be a moisturizer that will help with fine lines and wrinkles and improve firmness and elasticity. In all honesty, the breaking of the capsules got old and annoying quickly. If you have a lot of steps in your routine like I do, having to squeeze the moisturizer to break it up becomes a bit of a hassle. Not only that, but I find that the performance of the product is mediocre at best. My $5 Pond’s Dry skin cream seems to be more nourishing than this. My skin type is oily/combination and despite the tacky feeling on my face, I don’t think this delivered enough moisture at night. Some people say to use another capsule if one isn’t enough, but you can go through this very quickly by doing that. I don’t believe the product performed well enough for the price. It was a fun concept, but I’m going to need it to work.

The highlight of this product is the neat pre-portioned out balls of cream. Using a mini spatula to take them out so to not disturb the other balls is kind of a pain because now I have to rinse/wash the spatula after, which is an extra step I don’t have time for (#imalazymofo). It is a little odd trying to smash the tiny ball in your hand/finger to spread over your face, but it does turns into a somewhat silky cream that spreads easily on the face. I’m not a big fan of the baby powder scent, but it does go away eventually after massaging the cream onto my face. Didn’t notice any changes to my skin and it didn’t provide me extra hydration/moisture for my combo-dry/dehydrated skin with a single ball. Tempted to just crush all the balls together for easier use.
Overall, a very basic face cream, but fun with balls. Fifty dollar balls.
