Well now, all the hype over Sunday Riley made me have to try this product. So I reached down to the very deepest depths of my wallet and purchased a jar. I must say on first impressions it smells good. It also applies like a dream. Very creamy and sinks right into your skin. However, it is much too heavy for me. I am 60 years old and have old lines around my mouth ( used to smoke. ) But I don’t require anything of this magnitude to deal with them! This stuff is best used as a treatment during a hot bath, and then rinsed off. Or as a heavy duty night cream if your very, very dry. I loved the smell and it is very soothing and moisturizing, just too much for me. And I think it’s over priced.

This is the best moisturizer I’ve used EVER. It has a thick consistency, great for my dry dehydrated skin. It doesn’t trigger my acne/eczema prone skin. It has a delicious vanilla fragrance. I Will definitely purchase or again, although it’s quite pricey, but worth it.

The Sunday Riley Ice Ceramide Moisturizing Cream has many great benefits, especially if you are someone with dry to very dry, non acne-prone skin that is exposed to environmental toxins, pollution and/or blue light damage. One of the main ingredients is called Chondrus Crispus- this is a type of red algae that really helps protect skin from pollutants in the air, as well as the blue light that is emitted from phones, computers, and TV’s. Chondrus Crispus helps the skin by forming a sort of film over skin.
The Sunday Riley Ice Ceramide Moisturizing Cream also has many antioxidants and beneficial ingredients such as squalane and three types of ceramides. These ingredients help promote a healthy skin barrier and also restore plumpness to skin. My video review can be seen here: Q
Unfortunately, the Sunday Riley Ice Ceramide Moisturizing Cream isn’t totally perfect. It is packaged in a bulky jar, which allows ingredients to degrade each time you open and use it. The ICE cream also contains a few fragrance ingredients which can potentially sensitize and irritate sensitive skin. And, furthermore, this contains many acnegenic and fungal acne triggers, so use at your own risk. There is much to love about this, but also a few things which may make this a no-go for many. Personally, I love this super thick cream, definitely can see it having good potential during winter on my dry skin as well!
