oh, this is nice! an extremely positive scent, not too hefty however light sufficient to take place the face with that “day spa” scent.
called a “velvety-rich, indulgent lotion”- and also of course it is. as well as it makes your skin feel silky also. yum

I have made use of virtually every premium item on the market by this lotion is by far among the best lotions that I have actually ever utilized. The cost is affordable as well. What I like concerning it is that it is truly moisturising and penetrates skin actually well. This is my preferred cream for summertime time. Also, it really relaxes the skin and also evens out complexion.

This has a glamorous appearance and also scents devine. Pretty standard in its solution, very little better than Cold Lotion however then I would certainly never utilize cold cream!
I use this lotion 3 times a week for the experience of it. Rub a small amount on my combination skin. Leaves the skin fresh and damp all day.
I can not use this regularly since I need anti aging active ingredients and also Sunlight screen and this cream supplies neither.
So, in short, love the experience each time I put it on. Soooo good.

I have used pretty much every high-end product on the market by this cream is by far one of the best creams that I have ever used. The price is reasonable as well. What I like about it is that it is really moisturising and penetrates skin really well. This is my favourite cream for summer time. Also, it really calms down the skin and evens out skin tone.

This has a luxurious texture and smells devine. Pretty basic in its formulation, not much better than Cold Cream but then I would never use cold cream !
I use this cream 3 times a week for the experience of it. Pat a small amount on my combo skin. Leaves the skin dewy and moist all day.
I can’t use this more often because I need anti ageing ingredients and Sun screen and this cream offers neither.
So, in short, love the experience each time I put it on. Soooo nice.

I live for this stuff. I have combination skin – oily t zone and dry everywhere else. When I first got this cream I was nervous because I thought it would be too rich for me. Thick face creams often give me blackheads & make my makeup melt in the daytime and I always wear foundation (MUA working in cosmetics so I have to). However this soaks right into my skin and I have had no problems with my makeup not sitting nicely.
I also have incredibly reactive skin and thought I could only use Intral. However this has been great and I have had no reactions (like I have with clarins, Lancome, Vichy & Estée Lauder creams).
Will definitely buy this again unless I can find something comparable with a better price. However I work in ️️cosmetic retail with all the big brands and I haven’t found anything better 🙁

UPDATE 1/14/2016:
I’ve had to remove a lippie.
I don’t know if I bought a dud jar or if they’ve slightly changed the formula, but with this latest purchase, my face sometimes starts stinging when applied, like maybe 60% of the time, oddly enough. I’m so sad as this was my dependable (albeit bank-breaking) winter face cream!
I noticed if I put this on after (like within a 24 hr period) of using my MUAC toner (mandelic acid toner) and/or a serum or something with quite a bit of alcohol or glycolic acid in it, is when my face stings. Since I haven’t been using the MUAC Mandelic Acid Toner (I ran out) and a few other like-minded “treatmentsâ€, I seem to not have the stinging from before with the HydraSkin. So, now I’m not sure quite how to rate this as obviously the Darphin cream ALONE is great but if using certain actives or anything like I was using with a lot of alcohol, mandelic acid, etc., it does not work out well, unfortunately. I’m removing a lippie because it is not 100% perfection no matter what is on or off my skin prior to applying and I have sensitive skin in the wintertime. It’s probably all my fault for using something so drying as MUAC’s toner in the winter and GlyLuronic acid serum, and maybe it has something to do with the shea in the cream… I don’t know. 4 lippies still.
This is a GREAT moisturizer for my dry, sensitive skin that’s easily temperamental to what I slap on it (ie: breakouts or hives or both – gah!). This stuff is a dream, especially for the winter months when my skin goes from regular dry to extremely dry and borderline crinkly. But the REAL test was to see if it would hold up to the brutally harsh winter of northern Russia when I went back for a month long visit in late December through January – which, undoubtedly, is probably the WORST time to go to a country known for its blizzards, among other things! (we’re masochists, what can I say?). ANYWAY, what was the result? Darphin Hydra Riche held up to awful below zero weather and windshield like a charm! I can’t remember ever having such comfortable and perfectly moisturized skin during the winter time as I had while using the Hydraskin Riche by Darphin – except for maybe when I was a child with “perfect” derma! Also, in Russia, everyone cranks up the heat inside to the point where it’s literally hot, and because it’s all put out via radiators as opposed to ventilation like the states, the inside air quality is very,VERY dry (we’re also scared of cold weather, obviously having been traumatized by it as kids!). Therefore, going in and out from freezing, snowy air to hot and dry air, really takes a beating on ones skin. But this créme was a miracle and seemed to work as a barrier against all of that discomfort. Definitely will buy again – but only November – March months as it’s likely too rich for Spring and summer.

i love this moisturizer. it smooths and plumps my dehydrated acne prone skin without causing any breakouts whatsoever. it smells good. the glass jar is nice and i don’t have problems since i always use clean hands when i apply it. but damn it is pricy. especially for an ordinary no frills moisturizer. this won’t help smooth wrinkles or do any anti aging stuff. but my skin is radiant when i use it. right now i am on a budget so i have switched to nivea soft, but as soon as i have the money i will go back to this.

This moisturizer works extremely well on my dry and dehydrated, breakout prone skin. It absorbs almost immediately and feels very lightweight, yet very hydrating at the same time. I only need to use a little bit. I get absolutely no discomfort from this cream, and I have significantly fewer pimples since I started using this. It provides exactly the right amount of hydration for me most days (when my skin feels extra dry, I put a serum on before this cream). This cream really leaves my skin soft, so soft, in fact, that my boyfriend wants to touch my face all the time! I have also noticed that my skin looks a lot better since I have been using it. Not only do I have fewer breakouts, but the texture of my skin seems to have actually improved! I was reluctant to try this cream at first, because of the long and botanical ingredient list, but as I said, I had no negative reactions at all from it. I use it morning and night, and it keeps my skin feeling comfortable. Before I started using this, I had very tight, uncomfortable feeling cheeks. I would definitely recommend this cream to anyone with dry and dehydrated breakout prone skin. I definitely plan to repurchase!

This is great as a night time moisturizer. It does not give me break outs. It does not feel greasy just moisturised.
On colder dry days, a serum applied under this moisturizer is good.
It does have a fragrance and may not appeal to everyone.
When I wake up in the morning I can feel the cream still there on my face. My skin feels calmer after I put this cream on. It is pricey but for me this jar will last me through winter.

This velvety cream won me over on the shelf with the first 3 ingredients: Water, Glycerin, and Shea Butter.
On my dry, dehydrated skin, it’s pretty amazing how quickly it absorbed with no residual, no silicone-y coating. *shloop*– my skin just drank it up and felt protected, comforted, and hydrated. Most rich skin creams tend to sit on the surface, clogging and creating a too-rich environment, but not this one. No irritation, breakouts, or stinging, Hydraskin Rich also has the ability to re-layer without pilling or greasiness. I like the fact that key ingredients appear pretty high up on the list, way above the fragrance and preservatives. Paraben-free as well.
I would recommend this for any dry skin in need of hydration and comfort without greasy build-up. It’s a bit pricey, but if your skin is sensitive to everything else out there, you might want to give this a try. A lot of Darphin spas use this product in their facial routines, so much that there exists a 6.7 oz tube of Hydraskin Rich retailing for $200 (this I have).
if you’re looking for true anti-aging technology in a moisturizer, look elsewhere. Hydraskin’s not meant to compete with the peptides and sirtuins out there. it just does its job, yet simply and luxuriously.

PIC of ingredients.
I wasn’t too thrilled with this moisturiser as I felt it was too ‘slippery’ in texture and my skin was not absorbing this too well, i.e. I felt it was sitting on my skin rather than sinking in. In addition, this made me look a shiny mess.
So, I was quite disappointed as I had really high hopes for it. I went through half the jar when I decided to throw in the towel. I’m now just using it on my neck and decollete after showering. I much prefer and am happy with Clarins’ Multi Intensive Super Restorative Day Cream which I went back to (on my third jar).
