I love this product. I find there is a learning curve in using it though, as i find it pills when I combine it with certain oils. But as another reviewer said, it works supremely well with the right oil (I use omorovicza’s facial oil) and I wake up with bright, even, soothed skin. Spots and redness are somewhat reduced. I love the packaging as well (I am a certified product hoarder – I fall for packaging all the time) because it feels so luxurious! I do acknowledge the pain of a jar but most moisturisers do come in a jar anyway so… ????????♀️ will definitely recommend and repurchase!

I like this, but I don’t know if I would repurchase. Here’s why, starting with pros:
1. It’s heavy, but not in an oily, doesn’t-sink-in feeling. It doesn’t feel waxy, but like a really thick, emulsified butter that you work onto your skin. And you have to use sparingly and WORK. But trust me, once you do, it feels like heaven. On my raw and dehydrated winter skin, it was a godsend at night.
2. It works, in that I wake up with softer, smoother skin. It definitely helps in evening the texture of the skin.
3. It works really well with oils (recommended by brand). I’ve tried it with rosehip, argan, and sweet almond. All work fine, all sink in nicely.
Cons:
1. It’s not a slap-on-and-go product and you have to follow the directions to apply correctly.
2. While I’ve noticed a difference in texture, there has been no noticeable change in tone. It has done nothing to help with brightness or pigmentation. It seems like a one note in what it can accomplish as an acid-based moisturizer.
3. Packaging. UGH. A JAR. And for an organic product, there is no faster way to contaminate it. I suspect I’ll get through half of it before it spoils. Even in a jar, couldn’t they make the little scoop magnetic at least, so it sticks to the lid and not something I have scattered in my medicine cabinet?
So, if texture is your main concern, great. If you need something with more oomph- which I suspect most people reaching for an acid do- then I’d skip it and go elsewhere.

This product has me loving and hating it. I have repurchased it though so love must be winning… I love how it feels when first applied. The scent doesn’t bother me, I actually enjoy it. My issue with it is that it never quite sinks fully in. But in the morning I wake up feeling beautiful. My more detailed review video is below.

I received this as a sample from Sephora and am so glad I didn’t pay for it. This is possibly the worst-smelling beauty product I’ve ever used. Ever. It just smells awful! This is supposed to work well with a face oil, so I waited a few minutes and applied a face oil, hoping that would mask the scent somehow. Instead, this pilled. I ended up washing it off. I can’t even comment on its effectiveness since it didn’t stay on, and I can’t make myself use it again because it smells so terrible. So, if you are at all sensitive to fragrances, don’t buy this face cream!
