Fantastic moisturiser! Have tried so many different types and brands for my combination/oily skin over the years. Even moisturisers that I have quite liked I have not purchased again as by the end of the pot I have gone off it or it just ends up not suiting my skin.
Most are too heavy, don’t absorb properly and feel very greasy or they are very watery and don’t feel beneficial.
This smells so nice when you apply, my husband commented on the lovely fruity smell of my skin and couldn’t stop smelling my face!
It feels light and non greasy when you apply and soaks right into your skin leaving a lovely smooth, mat
Complexion for most of the day. It also feels so nice as a base for makeup. With other moisturisers I would have to pat my face with tissue or my makeup would clog.
I don’t wear makeup very often and this moisturiser is so good for the natural look because it absorbs so well without making your face feel tight or dry as some mattifier creams do.
I love good things products and so does my 25 year old daughter who can be prone to problem skin.
And a big big plus for us Is that it is cruelty free and doesn’t contain any animal derivatives or hidden nasties!
It is a fantastic affordable price so you can buy all the other products in the range .
I love the branding and there isn’t a load of over the top needless packaging.
Will definitely continue to buy this and would definitely recommend giving it a try.

No, no, a thousand times NO! I have super sensitive skin and wouldn’t recommend this to anyone in the same position, especially someone (like me) whose skin reacts to heavily scented products. This might be free from animal ingredients, mineral oils, parabens and sulphates, but I’d rather have a few of those thrown in if it meant I could have avoided the God-awful mess this turned my skin into after just two uses.
This is apparently a ‘miracle mattifier’ moisturiser containing blackcurrant and goji berry. And on first opening this the first scent that hit me was one of VERY overpowering fruit. To the point that even after application I could still smell it on my skin. Within about 2 minutes of appying this I could feel the usual flare up starting to happen – burning hot cheeks, watery eyes and red, red, red skin – so goodness only knows what possessed me to try it again the following day.
I can’t speak for the long-term effects of this. It certainly might work for the less sensitive-skinned of us out there. But for anyone in a similar position to me, my one suggestion would be to avoid this like the plague. If you’ve found a moisturiser that works for you, don’t be tempted – as I was – to go off the beaten track and try something new. It’s just not worth it in the long run.

I bought this at a Winners on a whim, and it was the best decision I’ve ever made! I had been having trouble with dry skin and my makeup was just caking and scaling when I put it on, even with primer, but this moisturizer made for a perfectly smooth application. Not only that, but my skin that normally gets very oily in my t-zone throughout the day, stayed perfectly matte and smooth well into the evening! I have tried countless moisturizers for my combination skin, and this one wins by a landslide. The only downside is that it’s not actually sold in stores in Canada, so now that I’m running low, I am having trouble finding where to purchase. If I find it again, I will buy the entire stock! A new must-have for me. (PS, this product does have a very strong fragrance. It doesn’t bother me at all, but beware if you’re sensitive to fragrant products)

having oily combination skin the usual moisturisers I end up buying are either so thin they hardly moisturise my face at all or far too heavy and wreak havoc. thank god I found this product which has a thick, rich texture, fruity smell, absorbs quickly and leaves my face feeling refreshed, soft and comfortable. oh and it’s cheap too.
I’m guessing I’m probably on tenth bottle my now, I’ve honestly lost count, I have tried other brands such as clinique, ren, pai, cetaphil and more but this has been the only one which has actually helped my skin.
finally, being cruelty free and vegan no animals are harmed in the making of this product. overall it’s really the definition of perfection.

I got this product a few days ago, and it really does work for me!!
I use this product after washing my face in the shower in both the morning and evening
I have oily/combo skin and it has really cast away the excess oil which is normally found on my forehead.
It lasted all day and has prevented my future breakouts not being so red and aggressive.
The price is somewhat reasonable however it does stretch a bit being at almost £8, but this can be cheaper due to sales/offers on at Boots/Superdrug.
However, I got this at TK Maxx for £5 I believe, so you cant really complain.
The packaging is simple and girly and would stand out in your bathroom, I like the fact that it is in a tube so it is more hygienic and prevents bacteria from spreading as it would so if it was in a jar format. There is also a lot of control with this product, but for me, a little goes a long way.
The smell however, was not at my taste as I am not one for blackcurrant/fruity scents so that’s the only downfall of this product really.
Overall, this product is fit for it’s purpose and I would highly recommend it.

Advantages
– nice packaging
– big tube lasts a long time
-only need a very small amount
– smells nice
Disadvantages
– makes skin oilier
– doesn’t mattify at all
– slightly grainy texture
– expensive for what it delivers
– gave me a few spots and a greasy heavy feel after a couple of hours
I had high hopes for this moisturiser a waste of 7.99 really expensive for what it is, doesn’t mop up oil. May be suited to very oily skin has it made my skin produce more oil. I have been using with the good things facewash. The reason I think it makes skin oily is that the face wash strips your face of oil and the moisturiser further dries it out resulting in your skin producing more oil. Will be trying a different moisturizer.
Not worth buying in my opinion don’t know what to do with it now.!

I have been using this moisturizer for just over a year now and it is by far the best i have come across for my combination skin. It definitely does what it says on the box. Keeps my T-Zone mattified and holds my makeup well (so much so i don’t even use my primer anymore). Although by the end of a normal working day (9-5) there is a little shine around my nose and for head area but nothing major oily. Price is average at £7.99. Would recommend this for normal – combo skin types.

It smells really good- and you only need a little bit, but it wasn’t good for my skin, it made my face look shiny and breakout. I don’t recommend it at all. And the cleanser is worse, i would stay away from these products.

I like this moisturiser -as it’s a lotion that keeps you matte (or claims to!) I expected it to be really light. It is not, its rather heavy and thick in texture. I was scared when I first used it, that it would be too heavy for my skin and either make me more greasy or break me out. Thankfully it did neither of these! The good thing about the texture is that a little goes a long way. You only need a small amount of this, meaning its good value for money.
One thing I didn’t like – just as with the cleanser is that the perfume is lovely, but clearly artificial. Had it been fragrance free or something with natural fragrance I would have liked it more. For a brand that is going for the “natural” and “good” angle I think this lets them down.
The lotion, once applied feels quite nice on the skin and not too heavy, it sinks in nicely and it wears well under the following foundations: Lancome Tient Miracle, Lancome Ultra, Dior Forever, Mac Matchmaster and MAC Pro Longwear.
Now, it claims to keep you matte…did it actually do this? I should point out I have a pretty oily t zone and I am having to blot or apply powder with in 2-3 hours of applying my make up. Kryolan Anti Shine Powder is a fantastic product for me, but it doesn’t keep me completely matte, so this lotion appealed to me.
This did a fairly good job at keeping me matte, when I used it on my own (without my Kryolan). I was shiny after about 5 hours which is an improvement on my usual 2-3 hours of matte skin. I did need to blot after 5 hours max, sometimes before. It performed best with Lancome Tient Miracle foundation which is a great foundation for oily ladies anyway, since its quite good at making you matte.
When I used the lotion and my Kryolan powder, it performed better. I still had to blot after about 7 hours or so, which I think is still a great result considering what my skin is like without these 2 products!
The lotion didn’t make me break out or feel heavy. Since you only need a small amount this bottle will last a long time. I never used it at night (as instructed) since I used Argan Oil at night.
Whilst I have not continued using the cleanser, I reviewed above, I may carry on using this and continue to buy it. One draw back is that this doesn’t have any SPF in it and so I would need to use a separate SPF and I am not keen on that idea. Before I tried this, I had been using Trader Joes Enrich Lotion for about a year, and I really like that it costs less than this, so its hard to decide. The Trader Joe lotion has SPF and is also paraben free and has vitamins in it so its now a case of just deciding what to carry on with…
Overall, if you have an oily t zone or have oily skin all over, give this a go, for the price it does do a good job, although I am on the fence about repurchasing.

I was sent a free sample of this product (the offer still seems to be on – to qualify you just become a Facebook fan of Good Things and then send them an email) and really love it. It has a great texture, works well on my skin and smells lovely.
