I have used this product for the last six days in a row and each day I receive the same reaction: my face instantly turns bright red to the point where it appears sunburned, and my skin feels like it’s burning for a good 35-45 minutes afterwards. I have spoken to my Consultant and we’re going to try swapping it out for the Calm Lotion instead, which I hope I’ll have better luck with. I’m sad because I really did like the smell of this one and hope the new one will be similar!

I would only use this as a day cream in the summer. It’s very light and absorbs very quickly into your skin, but limited in its ability to hydrate your skin. It comes out of the bottle as a rich silky cream that’s really easy to apply and the SPF is great. I have dry sensitive skin and this cream hydrates enough for a summer day when I don’t want a heavy lotion/cream on my face. My litmus test for a good day cream is being able to use it around my eye area and this cream does pass my test. 90% of all day creams/moisturizers irritate the skin around my eyes because of the SPF protection, but this one doesn’t, so I’m really happy with continuing to use this for the duration of the summer.

This did not cut it for keeping my face moisturized in winter winds. I haven’t tried it in the summer but I believe it would perform much better. You can smell the sunscreen but it still has a pleasant scent and texture.

I wear this moisturizer everyday! It is light, spreads evenly and smells awesome! I use a tinted mositurizer every day and I still use this mositurizer under the tinted one. I’ve been using it for the past 5 years and go through about two bottles a year, not bad!

Not bad – I actually like the Fc5 line better than the Re9 line – as I was able to try both through samples from my Arbonne lady. Too expensive – yes, but this moisturizer is a good weight (light weight. not too greasy, but still hydrating enough) and the SPF is nice. Has a citrusy “essential oil” scent as do many Arbonne Proudtcs.
I may actually pick up a full size tube of this one.

I’m pretty new to Arbonne products but I’m a fan so far. I got a sample of this day lotion and I like it a lot! It’s hydrating, smooth, and smells really nice. I use it with the face wash and I like the results so far. I’ve recently been having trouble with breakouts (was breaking out really badly due to a food allergy and as my face has been adjusting back to normal I’ve been getting less acne…but usually still getting at least a little acne). I think this has helped balance my skin because i haven’t had any new acne spring up.
I’m going to continue to use this lotion until it runs out. If my results stay as good as they are so far I will purchase this product.

I have been using this moisturizer for about a month now (along with the hydrating cleanser/freshener and moisturizing night cream). While the formulation is very nice — light lotion, good SPF, spreads easily — I don’t feel it is truly meant for normal/dry skin like it says on the packaging, as it does not hydrate particularly well at all. The night cream in this line does hydrate well, but the day lotion is an inferior version, in my opinion. This day lotion also stings a bit going on, which I did not expect from an Arbonne product that is supposed to be all natural ingredients. I suspect that it is whatever is in the product for SPF protection that causes the stinging, but I can’t be sure of that.
Given the cost of this product ($48 CDN!), I can’t justify repurchasing it. In general, I like Arbonne products, but this one just didn’t cut it for me.

I have never written a review for a product but this was just something I had to share the first time I tried it. The cream is light and just the perfect consistency! It absorbs quickly and leaves the face less oily. I got a free sample of this and I am definitely on the verge of buying the full size.

Hello all! Its so good to see all these independent reviews on this site! I am a consultant for Arbonne, and most Arbonne consultants will harp on about how good all the products are, well they are very good and I would be lying if I said ALL the products suit me and my family. There are some products that i don’t like using my self like the Spa range as it doesnt do anything for my dry skin, but I love the RE9 range for myself.
However, every single person who has bought the FC5 range has completely fallen in love with that range and uses it religiously! Enjoy the products every one…xx

I love this product!! It smells really nice and there are no harmful ingredients 🙂
I love the convenience of the pump of the bottle, it allows you to get ALL of the product out (which is good because you pay for what you get and it is a bit pricey). When i use it, its not 100 percent matte on my skin but I notice i dont get as oily throughout the day. I like how theres spf in it too. The downside to this is the packaging. The lid is so weak, i’ve dropped it so many times because its soo loose and its all cracked now :\ But that doesnt affect the quality of this product. I only use one pump since my skin is already pretty oily, so this has lasted SOOOO LONGG..surprisingly. Definatly repurchasing 🙂
