I first bought their Turmeric Face Milk, prior to the release of the bigger bottles of face milk. I really like the turmeric one, it smells so so good and has a nice moisturizing feel. It does have shimmer though, which rubs me the wrong way. I don’t really want shimmer in a product that borders between skincare and makeup.
So having nearly finished the turmeric, I ordered the large size of the Matcha Face Milk. It doesn’t smell strongly enough of matcha, in my opinion. But it is lovely moisturizing and it layers so well between my skincare and makeup. I use it sort of as a primer/moisturizer (after actual moisturizer and before actual primer lol) and I find myself loving it.
One thing about the big bottle vs the original smaller bottle though is that the big one is plastic rather than glass… I’m not a fan. I’d rather pay a bit more for a recyclable glass bottle than keep ordering little plastic bits to throw in the garbage. But that’s my only complaint!! Otherwise I would highly recommend for some fun, affordable skincare/makeup. I will be trying some other “flavours” as well 🙂
