I feel like Alpha Skin Care is one of those hidden gems, they aren’t a well known brand, but their products work and they are budget friendly. I have extremely sensitive skin, that tolerates very few actives. I had previously been using the 10% AHA lotion for many years, because my skin is so sensitive and could tolerate daily use of the 10%. However, I felt like it wasn’t doing much for my skin anymore so I switched to the 12% cream. Even though the cream is thicker than the lotion, it’s less sticky, and absorbs a lot faster than the lotion. Even with a stronger concentration of AHA this did not burn upon application. and my face was smoother, softer, and brighter. I’m not sure yet if I can tolerate this nightly without redness or irritation. Night one was all good, night two, just a slight bit of flushing/redness after application, but no dryness. since the concentration is stronger, I do use less of this than the 10%.

I have found my skin responds well to aha’s. I use the serum and alternate between that and this. This has 12% aha and my skin looks so much better for it. I have some fine genetic forehead lines, large pores, and needed some general resurfacing. This has made my skin so good. All my lines are diminished and my pores are so small and clean.
My skin is so smooth and looks so even toned. It also looks plumper and my smile lines are nearly invisible. For 39 I’m super happy with how my skin is. I have been using Alpha Skin Care products since before they changed their name. I was using them on and off and now I know I will stick with this because my face looks so much better for it.
The price is very reasonable and they disclose their ph. These products for me work and do so very well. I get a few tiny purges when I started this but it was gone before it even began. For my fine lines this has worked better than anything else. I find the 12% to be great, since I also use the 14% my skin is used to this strength. Recommended.
