This review was so long over-due that O Hui already developed a new version with different packaging! While the review may not be relevant, it’s a reminder to me that it’s worth a shot to try their new version. The version I tried was in a silver bottle in an oblong, pill/bullet shape. The newer one I see is purple and cylindrical.
This is one of those products that didn’t spark joy until I stopped using it and started using other products. From the solid glass container with the pump, to the luxurious texture and light baby powder scent on my face, it was definitely a treat at for my nighttime routine. It never felt heavy or oily on my skin, absorbed quickly and layers well under my final cream or overnight mask. It does have similar consistency/weight as some of the Iope and Laneige emulsions I’ve tried.
Baby Collagen? Beats me, but I’ll take anything with collagen for my maturing combo skin.
All in all, I would definitely try the new version for my “luxury” items.
