Avene is perfect for extremely sensitive skin that cannot tolerate products typically marketed “for sensitive skin”. It’s exactly what I need when I react to everything such as Natio, Cetaphil, Simple, Neutrogena, Dermalogica, Sukin, Antipodes etc.
I have combination skin that’s pretty clear but I have an oily T zone with large pores and that combined with makeup causes blackheads. But also having sensitive skin that can be oily and clogged one day and then dry and riddled with eczema the next!
This is the most perfect moisturiser for oily skin (I use just on my nose and forehead) and it works well at hydrating the skin so it doesn’t over compensate and produce more oil, but doesnt over hydrate. Works brilliantly as a primer under makeup for those oily areas like my nose that breakup as the day goes on. Very expensive but seriously don’t slather it on! Just a super duper tiny amount is all you need. You might feel like you want to apply more but i promise you less is more and it will work better with less product.
Highly recommend for anyone with oily skin or even just an oily t zone etc. Grab a 5mL sample too! It lasted me 1month of daily use on my tzone. Well worth the high price as the full bottle will last a long time!
