   I have used Merle Norman’s Powder Base Foundation for some time, but just recently have had more redness issues,so I started using there anti-redness powder over there anti-redness moisturizer. Not only did it reduce the redness, but also calmed the skin irritation that you get with Rosacea.I am very pleased with the natural look that I get using these two products together. I tried just the powder over my old moisturizer and did not get the same effect. The cream is green, so it adds an additional step in reducing redness. I am a very happy customer.    Unfortunately this product did not help me with my redness. It gave me little bumps on my cheek too. I didn’t feel hydrated after it . I would say I have sensitive skin but not typically dehydrated.

   I am no longer using this as I am using Neostrata Rosacure product instead. Rosacure is an anti-redness treatment cream that is now available in the cosmetic section of SDM.

   Using this product prompted me to write my first post! I have purchased many items due to the quality feeback that I have read on MA, so I thought that some info on this product Neostrata’s Rosacure might be of help to others. I have extremely sensitive, pale skin and live in Canada where the weather varies from one extreme (+35C) to another (-45C). I used this product under recommendation from the salesperson at Shopper’s Drug Mart for my rosacea. I did NOT notice any difference for THREE weeks – the salesperson warned me to apply the lotion each time I washed my face – but after that … WOW!! I cannot believe the difference. It has been 6 weeks now, I am just finishing my first bottle (you only need a pea sized amount) and the results are very noticeable. My husband even noticed, and generally he is oblivious to these sorts of things. You need to apply it immediately after washing your face, before you put any moisturizers on your skin. Definitely a must for those suffering from red skin …

   Ok I don’t have rosacea, but I do have some red acne scars that get redder and angrier with sun exposure or a glass of wine, Seriously has diminished the anger in 4 applications, I can’t wait to see what happens in 4 weeks. will update in September 2004.
