With me hitting my mid 30’s I thought it was time to go for the best…and in my eyes that was La Prairie. After much research and asking the poor sales lady loads of questions I purchased my first tub (along with their foaming cleanser and cellular toner)
Granted my expectations were very high but after just over 8 months and 2 tubs my skin was no different than when I started. What a HUGE disappointment!! At no point did I notice any improvement and while my skin didn’t get worse – it certainly didn’t get better!!
What I thought would be a turning point for my skin ended up being a dead end. Sadly for me this cream did not live up to the brands reputation.

Nice face cream with nothing special. The texture is nice, not sticky, but I don’t have that same effect when I use the day and night cream. Smell is non-offensive. Not bad, but not at this price.

Very nice product. I use this in combination with the anti-aging daycream, serum and eye cream. Very nourishing. I’ve not had any allergic reaction to it. Very expensive obviously, as with all LP products, that’s why I only buy it at the airport or during sale. Heavy pot so not suitable for travelling, but I just scoop out a small amount using clean fingers or spatula and deposit into a small container. I would buy again when finished.

blocked my pores. VERY emollient.

Now that i’ve turned 25 and am working fulltime in an office environment, which dries and stresses out my skin, I’ve started to get into the routine of moisturizing my skin at night. I’ve been using this along side the anti-age day cream, although I find the spf in the day cream doesn ‘t have a particularly good effect on my skin, so this night cream is actually my favourite out of the two. I find it soothing on my skin but lacks the feeling of leaving my skin drenched in moisture, just recently i’ve started trying this over a night serum and unfortuanately I find it is simply not moisturizing enough to be used in this way. Previous to using this product I was using By Terry’s Teint De Rose, which I still prefer. Overall, I think this is an okay product, but not a great one.

I received a sample of this cream when I purchased some products from the Anti-Aging line. The salesperson did not really push this on me and I can appreciate why. I am 32 and mainly concerned with preventive aging measures. I think this product is better suited for someone in their late 30s or over 40 since it is quite emollient for my combination acne-prone skin. I also developed a small but deep and painful cyst on my chin after using only this product, making me think that I am not ready for this heavy cream yet. I will stick with only the serum and a basic moisturizer for night time. Finally, I find this cream way too fragrant and not in a pleasing way.

Good product but the Night Repair is by far better.

I love love love this product!
When applying you see such a wonderful healthy glow, it’s almost a shame to go to bed.
It hydrates all night, I my skin wakes up with me feeling soft, smooth and refreshed.
From all (toooo) expensive stuff I’ve been using the last few years, this one is really worth its money. When your skin is not to dry, and not very oily, you will get the benefits every day.
In summer, when having days of too much sun, this cream is calming, in winter when having too much of the freezing cold, this cream is feeding my skin.
recommended!!!!

This is the first night cream that I’ve purchased from any line. I had been using Natura Bisse’s The Cure line of skincare treatments, but felt that I needed something more moisturizing. I had just purchased the liquid foundation and was impressed by the shade, but even more so that it lived up to La Prairie’s claim that it was a treatment as well. I’ve been using the night cream for a few months and together with the Anti-aging serum, day cream and eye cream my skin is in the best state ever. I suffered a lot with oily skin and acne even into my 30’s, these products finally helped to normalize my skin like no other product (don’t even have to use acne topical treatments any more).
My skin is now smoother, healthier and has a nice radiance (not an oil slick).
I had been a bit skeptical before with this brand because of its depiction of benefits and definitely by how pricey the line is, but the results speak for themselves. $200 for 1 oz (lasts me about 6 – 8 months – a little goes a long way with this brand).

I’m a big fan of Lauder’s ANR, and i keep wishing they make a cream version of it.La Prairie hit the score with Anti Aging n/c because it’s chock full of antioxidants, plant extracts, pure vitamin E, shea and cupuaçu butters and sodium hyaluronate. And all pretty high up in the ingredient list. It’s described as a repair complex and i see it working.Suitable for all ages it repairs existing damage and prevents new one. This last month of use, i wake up to soft, glowing, fresh rested skin.I don’t have wrinkles so i don’t know how it delivers in that department but it makes a great nighttime moisturizer with proven results.Subtly fragranced with the typical La Prairie scent, it is rich and creamy but melts beautifully and gets absorbed straight away.No pore clogging.
Bottom line, if you’re looking for a nighttime moisturizer that repairs and protects the skin, has active ingredients somewhere else than the bottom of the list and actually delivers moisture, radiance, repair and prevention get this,it get’s a 5 in all areas.Re purchase guaranteed.
