I am a little (lot) surprised by this. The first thing I notice is the pleasant scent. While I normally shy away from scented skin products, the scent here is not too heavy nor does it linger once applied and absorbed into the skin. It is not a floral scent, thank goodness, but sort of a fresh perfume type of scent, but lightly scented.
Anyhow, I could not help but notice how this made my skin look instantly better immediately after applying. I am 48 years old and I felt like immediately this made my skin look at least 10 years younger. Does not feel greasy at all to me, like some heavier creams do. But this is not really heavy. Yes, it does feel luxurious, as another reviewer pointed out. This is a pretty beige shade cream, a little thick but not heavy, at least not to me. The only reason I did not rate this a full 5-stars is that my skin did not feel very moisturized a couple hours after applying this (yes, this is nighttime; I am a night owl, so I applied this at around 10PM and did not go to bed until almost 1AM, so almost 3 hours after applying this). Having said all of that, I voted “yes” I would repurchase this..not deliberately, and likely not the very next time I need a face cream, but possibly at some point in the future, I will repurchase this. So..this is nice in my humble opinion, just doesn’t quite wow me enough to be holy grail status for me. But yeah, I would not be opposed to repurchasing this. Truth be told, this performs as well as and even better than some high end creams for me. So, I like this..but not a “total must-have”, “can’t live without” love…but still rather nice…..4 out of 5 stars (lippies) for me. Quite nice, just not a wow product, and yes….I would possibly repurchase this.

This is a thick cream for use at night. Then one I used was pink in color. I have very dry mature skin and was hoping that this emollient heavier cream would be helpful to my complexion. However, I did not find it effective and in fact almost did not finish it. Even in combination with facial oils I didn’t find this very helpful and there are certainly much better products out there for a similar cost (between $15-25). Even L’Oreal has better creams available in the drugstore, one of which I use regularly. Unfortunately I fell for the advertising on this one.

This stuff is so thick and solid it feels like I’m spreading spackle on my face. It’s just globby and greasy. I feel like a 50’s housewife when I put it on – all I need are the pink curlers. Does it work? I’m not sure. I’ve been faithfully using it for a month and I don’t see a difference. And geez, it smears all over my pjs and my pillow. Nope, not for me.

This product smells luxurious and has a really thick and absorbent texture. I’ve used Shiseido, Lancome and other high end brands but this one does the exact same thing if not even better for a fraction of the price.
I’m in my late 20s with extremely oily skin but lately during winter I have been experiencing dry patches. Mosturisers advertised for my age group aren’t really working so I took a plunge and bought this baby when it was on sale.
I noticed the difference right away. After the first night, I woke up with a visibly brighter complexion, more supple and bouncy skin with no dry patches. It left my skin with a sheen that feels like dead skin but washable with facewash. My skin felt so soft and healthy!
I will definitely continue to use this in winter, but I reckon it’s a little too heavy for summer or humid climates.

Bought a small sample size jar for about $7. Product smells nice and is thick like most night creams. Unfortunately it irritated my skin and after one use my face looks and feels like it was sunburnt. I have somewhat sensitive skin so that’s probably why my skin reacted badly. Glad I bought a small sample first. Worth a try but be careful if you have sensitive skin.

This is such an interesting product. Since I turned 55 my previously oily skin became dehydrated, dry, flakey, and rough, my makeup looked awful, and nothing was helping. I was using Clinque Night Cream (in the green tube, can’t remember name) and it wasn’t working well enough, and i was fed up with searching the high end lines and getting bupkis. Reviews were positive for the L’Oreal Age Perfect products from woman like me, so I bought the night cream. I also purchased Olay 2-in-1 day cream plus serum which is also an amazing product (see my review).
This product totally and immediately reversed the issues I was having! My skin rehydrated, plumped up, and my skin felt so much softer, smoother and dewy. Yay! I began using it right away and it helped immediately so I knew I was going to keep it, but then only used it occasionally while I used up the Clinique night cream as fast as I could. That is finished now and now I’m only using this product as my night cream (over the Olay 2-in-1) and i’m totally happy with it. Plus it’s reasonably priced and always goes on sale somewhere. It is a good sized elegant looking jar (pretty gold colour & looks expensive) and I only have to use a smidge. BTW, just get those mini spatulas which you can pick up at any cosmetic counter or beauty supply story and use them for your jar products.
The interesting thing about this product is it has a bit of a gritty feel when you apply it, but I can feel it ‘melting’ the rough, dry, dead skin cells and delivering moisture deeply to the under layers and renewing the skin surface on contact. It has a bit of a perfume scent which I don’t adore, but has not irritated my skin and doesn’t linger. Now I like it. At first my senses detected a slight fishy oil smell under the perfume, so I wondered if it contains a fish oil, then covers up the smell with the perfume? Whatever, because this product really works and now I can’t detect that smell anymore – buh-bye over-priced lines. I’m thrilled to find products that I can get just about anywhere for a reasonable price and that is so effective! Fantastic! Will continue to purchase. Oh, I also use the L’Oreal Glow Renewal Oil – it’s one of the best oils I’ve ever used. (Users of the line give it good reviews but I see Paula gave the night cream a thumping – she’s such a buzz kill sometimes! ha ha!)
Update: Still loving this, still using it nightly and my skin looks amazing!
