This is a great size for under the eyes. I use it to apply my highlight-concealer. I tried applying my foundation with it once but I did not like it. When I washed it I noticed that if you’re too rough you can tear it. It happened to me, good thing it comes with two. It’s too dense and it kind of hurt while I used it. I’d rather use a brush or a softer sponge so I don’t plan on repurchasing this.

Unable to afford a beauty blender, and only needing it to blend undereye concealer anyway, I have been using the regular-sized Ulta Super Blender sponge happily for a year plus. With the release of two-pack of the mini version, at the same price, it was cost-effective to switch.

The smaller version is WAY better for what I need the sponge for – blending undereye concealer. The small version’s soft small points and rounded edges are perfect for getting into the inner corners and blending out under the eye evenly, without absorbing too much concealer. Definitely pick up if you’re looking for affordable small job blending sponges.

Update: I bought a new pack and the sponges have changed for the worse. They are much too dense and hard now. The updated sponge basically just wipes off the concealer without any blending and it doesn’t feel pleasant, especially in the delicate eye area. I threw out the new ones and I wouldn’t buy them again.
