I fear this gadget is a waste of money and time when compared to the plain model without the sensors.
I’ve been using it for 3 weeks and the reading is always the same. I think it is a silly gimmick. As a long-time Clarisonic user, I may be biased but I don’t think the Luna gets to the skin around my nose as easily which is one of my blackhead-prone areas.
There will always be another tool I hope will solve my skin problems. The beauty industrial complex loves a lemming like me.

This is one of the worst purchases I have done lately.
I was excited about testing this new Foreo brand, but my Luna Fofo stopped working after about 150 usages (not 400 as promised by the manufacturer). When I opened the battery slot (another fun thing is to find a screwdriver for this device) the batteries were corroded and wet, the water must have been leaking inside. But Foreo says on its website that Luna Fofo is waterproof! After I researched the web a little bit I found out that a lot of people have experienced the same problem with Fofo. In each case Foreo agrees to make “a huge exception ONLY for you” and send you another device even though it is not covered by warranty, Obviously Foreo knows that the device is defective, but they still continue selling it. This is false advertising 101. Shame on them.
Please dont waste your money on this useless device.

This new model of Foreo Luna Fofo lets you change out the batteries, which is great compared to the previous version (the Lunda Play? forget what it was called).
It works with an app to switch up the vibrations of the product and just gives a really gentle exfoliation.
It’s ok… I’m not too sure it does anything for my skin. I keep mine in the shower and like to use it on my chin 🙂
So far my batteries have not leaked.

Don’t buy this for the “tEcHnOlOgY” because it basically spits back the info you gave it. Just speaking about the device by itself, I love it. More than my Clarisonic (also you don’t have to replace those expensive brush heads!!) this is so gentle but works, it cleans my my face super well but it’s not irritating or stripping.

I received one of these in my Fab Fit boxes and it worked really nice the first two times I used it, and then it crapped out. I had signed up for the warranty and when I looked at my account it said no claim was available. I looked on Reddit and other sites and it looks like a lot of people are having this very same problem. I am very disappointed in this product, and also with their customer service. I feel like I’ve been duped, not a good way to convince people to buy your products. *thumbs down*
*update* I actually received a replacement after jumping through several hoops to get one which was fairly annoying, but at least it was something. At any rate, that one broke too. Big thumbs down for this product. They are selling something faulty that does not work and do not make it easy to return and get a replacement and it took a long time. So not only does their product suck, so does their customer service. I’m really surprised at all the good reviews here because this product is completely defective. BUYER BEWARE!

I was lucky enough not only to get the Foreo Luna FoFo free in a beauty box subscription, and also to get it a little earlier than its official release date. This is a twist on the Foreo Luna Silicone Face Cleanser with the addition of a skin analyzer to the same device. It has two small metal sensors that you can place on areas of your face. So far the only thing the device really does is tell you (through the Foreo App) if those areas of your face are dry, normal, or oily. Then after the “analysis” it walks you through a cleansing treatment of your face with the brush. I am not sure if this really helps me with anything I didn’t know, and I am not certain what, if any, other features they will be adding to the app. If you already own one, in my opinion, this isn’t something you need to run out and purchase. If you are thinking of buying your first Foreo Luna you might as well get the FoFo and see what other features might be down the road. My review and how to video can be seen here:
