my skin felt exactly the same and for the ridiculous price tag its not worth it.
alright. so i got this in a christmas pack with two other lush products, it was the mini so regular about 30 dollars. i put it on as the directions recommended. literally no results. not a single thing happened. needless to say i was disappointed.
doesnt smell or look great and isnt particularly easy to apply.
literally the only positive thing about this mask is that it did not make my skin look worse.
overall not worth your money, there are plenty of masks out there that cost less, smell better, look better and work better.

Would not repurchase. Doesn’t do anything it claims to. There are better clay masks available; try Clinique’s clay mask or the Aztec one instead.

What was I thinking spending $50 on a clay masque? I must have had a gift card to spend or something. Anyway, this has lasted me almost a year with once weekly use. A little goes a long way. I don’t recommend leaving it on for longer than 10 minutes, it’s very drying and a little irritating (for me anyway). After using this mask my skin feels smooth and refreshed, but it’s just temporary. After 12 hours It’s back to itself. It’s just a basic clay masque, nothing wrong with it and definitely not worth the price. Aztec Clay Masque is more effective I think.

I have combination skin with large pores on my nose and cheeks. I bought this mask with the recommendation from a Sephora saleslady. I am really disappointed!
Packaging:
Squeeze tube – nothing spectacular. It does give a good control over how much product comes out, which is nice.
Consistency:
For a clay mask, it is rather liquid/runny. I am used to more pasty masks, so this texture was not good. It has the typical “dirt” smell to it, with the hint of something grassy/mossy.
Performance:
The instructions say to leave it for 3-5 minutes – the mask barely dries in that time. The instructions also state that it can be used as a daily cleanser, which no REAL clay mask ever should be. It claims to neutralize the skin’s acidity, purify and clarify, soothe, and protect against free radicals – in other words, no immediate, observable results.
Results:
This “mask” is nothing more, than a glorified face wash. It does absolutely nothing for the pores! It is pretty drying and does not leave the face feeling clean/refreshed. The worst thing is that it is very irritating – both my sister and I used it, and it broke us both out!
At $49 for 3.4 oz, this is a pretty pricey, yet absolutely useless product. It is definitely going back!

Bought this twice but it was better the first time. They must have changed the formula. Does a great job at detox as a cleanser, mask or spot treatment and helps with irritation too— but it gets drying if used more than 1-2x week. (helps to rinse extra well)
Seriously overpriced but does last awhile. If they cut the price in half for a slightly smaller tube I might buy more often but otherwise it’s a rare treat or desperate act when my skin goes totally haywire. Fresh is really overpriced.

This mask is very effective at deep-cleaning your skin and clearing out your pores. It’s also incredibly effective as a spot treatment. HOWEVER I find that Queen Helene’s Mint Julep Mask is just as effective and about $40 cheaper. I probably will not buy this again so long as I’m getting the same effect from the cheaper product. (I will say that one bottle of the Fresh mask has lasted about eight months and is still not empty, so you do get your money’s worth.)

Another average clay mask that doesn’t do much beyond any other clay mask available at Sephora or the drugstore. For reference, I have dry, dehydrated skin with flakiness around my forehead, hormonal acne and scarring around my chin, and large sebaceous filaments around my nose.
I’ve tried a lot of clay masks in my days, from all different price ranges and all different formats. This summer was extra hot and as a result I was dealing with more oil production and blackheads on my nose, something completely new to me. I wanted to try this out to see if it helped with clearing out the pores and controlling oil production. This one didn’t stand out as being particularly good nor particularly bad. Given the price, I’d hope it would be at least slight better than average, so I won’t be repurchasing.
It spread nicely across the face for application, and it was cool that you could see the pores around my nose where it was sucking out the excess oil (similar to the glam glow masks). The one thing that really stood out about this mask is that it didn’t start to crumble and flake as it dried. I usually work or do other things while I have a mask on, so I appreciate that this didn’t drop clay chunks all over my laptop. When I washed it off my face felt clean, but not exceptionally “evened-out” or “detoxed”, like the product claims. There also didn’t seem to be any lasting effects- my skin was back to its normal self the next day. I’ve used up a sample tube over the course of a month and I see no major difference in my skin since starting to use this. The oiliness around my nose has gone away, but it’s also dropped down to fall temperatures so I think that’s the reason, not this mask.
Don’t waste your money on this crazy expensive clay mask. Grab one from the drugstore or opt for a different style of mask- this seems too “middle of the road” to have any standout benefits, so ultimately it is not worth the price.

This is a very average clay mask that leaves my face a little too dry and tight. I like that it doesn’t harden all the way but it’s very difficult to scrub off and dries out my skin too much. It’s hard to find a good clay mask that will clean out your pores while not stripping off all the moisture. So far my favorites are Josie Maran and Aveda.

Another great product by Fresh! Scent is not offensive (I’m very sensitive to scents). Mask works well not sure about using it as a cleanser yet, still need an additional cleanser with it. But I bought it for mask purposes anyway.

I hadn’t used this in a while and my skin started breaking out because of a moisturizer I tried. My skin is sensitive and most acne treatments are too harsh. This is the perfect solution for me. Using it strictly as a mask a 2 -3 times a week has helped clear up my skin. I should also note that my breakouts tend to be pretty stubborn and this helped clear it up quick.

I just want to state first off that I have extremely oily skin, but I also have acne-prone skin and sensitive skin.
This has personally grown on me. The first time I went to Sephora, I was looking for a foundation, we somehow got on the topic of skincare and one of the girls introduced this to me. I was annoyed at first because I do have acne, she knew it, I knew it, but no one knows the horror I’ve gone through, trying everything, prescription and over the counter, the countless money my parents and I have gone through trying to clear my skin or even make it look better. I was like meh, so she gave me a sample to try. I had ran out of what I was using at that time, Mary Kay Time-Wise face something… anyway, so I started to use this. You only have to use a little bit of this, not even a pea size amount and I have a big face, LOL. (No, really, I do) Before I was also using the Neutrogena Body Scrub with Salicylic Acid, but it was breaking me out. I have a slight OCD problem and want a “clean” feel to my skin.
On the first use I noticed my skin felt softer. I started using it every other or few days and I noticed that my skin wasn’t producing as much oil and my skin felt soft and I wasn’t breaking out or had as many zits.
I went back to Sephora to purchase a tube, but noticed the sticker price and said no way. However, each trip back to Sephora, I kept either looking at holding it, pouring a tad bit on my hands and playing with it, reading the box, etc.
Lately, my skin has become an even bigger oil slick and I was so tired of everything. Six months later, I caved in a took a chunk out of my wallet for this, but not I’m gonna lie, I wish I had done it sooner. I use it as a face wash instead of the “mask” it’s intended to be. My face feels smooth and so soft again and I noticed my skin looks clearer. I knew my face before was kind of clear, but you can actually tell and it looks healthy and just good! My oily face has declined as well which I’m way excited about. I can’t use this every day or I get a few pimples, which I wish I could seeing how I love the way my face feels and looks, and how clean it gets, but I’m ok with that. I just use Dove Sensitive Skin Beauty Bar in between.
Even though it’s quite a bit of money, I think it’s probably worth it for me. Also seeing as how I barely use any, I bet the tube will last me a while.
