I’m not sure why this has such a bad review. Im.not sure if people are applying the face mask correctly, but mine peels off in one REALLY nice piece and is not hurtful. I also have sensitive skin especially on my nose (where I put the mask the most) and it does not hurt me. Bottle gets a bit messy because it is a clay mask but it’s completely fine. I’m in love with this and would buy again<3

Ok so I just bought this mask and I’ve tried it out for the first time after seeing all these reviews. I have sensitive and acne prone skin with hyperpigmentation scaring from previous acne. And I am a teenager. So as I squeezed the product it was a bit runny. It’s not messy to apply on my face just around the bottle, which wasn’t too bad to clean up. I put it on and I got a sweet perfumed smell it wasn’t too overbearing but the smell did go away after a few minutes. My eyes did sting as I put the mask near The Eye area but that also went away after a few minutes which is good. It felt nice on my skin. No tingling sensation or irritation but it does take a while to dry. So so far for a first time use I like it. I will update after using this mask for longer. Removing the mask wasn’t too bad but if you’re skin is overly sensitive be careful! My skin is sensitive but I’m kind of immune to this kind of pain. And don’t get it near your eyebrows unless you plan on ripping them off😂 but I mean if you do you can just clean that area off with water. I’ve given 3 stars only because I haven’t used it that Long yet

I don’t understand why this mask has such a low rating despite all the goodness it has.
Before I used the one from Japan, but since I moved to Europe they don’t sell it there, so I switched to the Himalaya peel-off mask. Unfortunately, the tube pacakage was discontinued last year and I didn’t want to buy the small packet for it would producing more unnecessary plastic waste.
I need a heavy-duty mask that could actually pull out almost everything. I read the review here and people described it as “hurtful” and “ripping off skin” so I thought this would be perfect.
I bought this mask for €6 at Dm, a German retail, quite cheap in my opinion. At first try I could say this was not made for people with sensitive skin. The texture is quite consistent, I used only one finger to glide it on skin on one direction to avoid the mess. There was a cool and tingling feeling. The smell was fresh but would turned into kind of plasticky when getting dry, which was unpleasant. It was easy to peel, all in one go, removed all the hair, dead skin, black and white head. All I need was to wash my face with ice cold water to have a smooth and shiny skin result. I also suggest steaming your face before using this mask to open the pores and for dehydration.
If I run out of this I will surely buy it again. It’s perfect!

If you have a problem applying masks evenly, I highly suggest a silicone spatula or something similar. This is way too messy and hard to wash off without one to me, but applying it with silicone redeems all that. Unfortunately this isn’t the best mask for my skin type, though. Either my Winter skin or my skin in general didn’t like this, and it caused redness across my cheeks and chin that lasted a full day. I didn’t have any problems removing it but it did take about 30 minutes to fully dry.
Pros: Cheap, smell isn’t too strong, my face felt tight but not uncomfortable, the mask peels off all in one piece.
Cons: Caused redness, very messy when applied with fingers, takes 30 minutes to dry firmly, will pull hair out if you aren’t careful, not the best Freeman mask or peel off in general.

For a peel off mask this works as you’d expect. It’s pretty thick in terms of consistency and the ugliest color I’ve seen in a long time. But I had no trouble applying it and it had a cooling effect while I waited for it to dry. It was easy to peel off, pretty well in one piece and aside from getting a free waxing on the places where it was on hair, it didn’t really hurt. I was pleasantly surprised that my skin felt soft and hydrated afterward and it wasn’t red or irritated, which does happen on occasion when using these types of products on my skin. There is something satisfying when you are able to peel off a mask in one piece so I will keep purchasing these types of products (maybe not exactly this one) in future. I didn’t find the scent overwhelming as other reviewers noted and I have an extremely sensitive sense of smell. I gave this 3 out of 5 lippies, but would suggest it deserves 3.5 out of 5. It’s not great but it’s not bad either.

This is the worst mask I’ve ever used. The consistency and the smell are disgusting. It feels like I’m trying to smear liquid taffy onto my face. It is extremely sticky and messy even by mask standards. I’ve never had gel masks string all over the place like this did. Good luck getting it even. As for smell, the lemon is overpowering and the “sweet tea” component smells like burnt sugar. Together it’s nauseating.
As for the actual application, I got a reaction from it. I didn’t get any chemical burns, but it sure felt like it from the pain I got from it. My face was very itchy and dry afterward. I tried to finish my sample but I just couldn’t. It went into the trash soon afterwards.

Contrary to most of the reviews, I didn’t find this mask painful or drying, but it didn’t do much for me. I didn’t notice much of a difference in my skin either. Eh, for only $3 I wasn’t expecting a miracle.

I really love this mask. I put on a thin layer (smells really good) then wait for it to dry and just peel it off. It comes off in one piece and I find it fun to do. I wouldn’t say you see anything on the mask once you pull it off but my skin is really soft and not dried out at all. After multiple uses my pores are definitely smaller and more clear. I even put it on the problem areas and leave it on over night. I don’t understand the negative reviews but I love it and more for me 🙂

This is my very first Feeman mask. I know this brand has been around for many years but I never had the balls to decide on which one to get because they are so many. I blindly picked this one because the name appealed to me. Mmmm sweet tea and lemon. I wouldn’t say I’m a wussy when it comes to pain. I can handle pain. However, peeling this mask off had me worried. I was peeling it off in the dark watching TV and it hurt so bad that I thought my skin was peeling off as well. I actually got nervous and ran in the bathroom to see what the hell was happening. DAMN it took forever to get this all off. It doesn’t peel off evenly. Some parts will be stuck to your face and you need to dig at a corner and try to scratch it off. I think the only other time that beauty messed me up was when I tried a homemade baking soda mask and that gave me 1st degree burns. Yeah so this Feeman mask ranks #2 as most painful product. After I was able to get all of the stupid mask off, my skin felt very dry and irritated. I don’t think I will be using this again.
