When I apply this product in my skin it burns a little, and my skin is not sensible. after the 5 minutes when I massage the burn goes away, but the products still makes a greasy layer in my skin and that is not a good feeling.
The worst part is that the skin does not feel hydrated afterwards. Sometimes I even have skin coming out after using it. Unfortunately I bought the big package because normally I like Vichy products.

I was very disappointed with this product. I love Vichy serums, and I have also gotten great results with Vichy moisturisers. I don’t know what happened with this mask. I put it on over my Vichy serum and it felt tight. I gently tapped my face and left it on for five minutes. Then it started to sting. I rinsed it off and although my skin does feel very soft, it actually feels warm instead of cool!
I really wanted to love this product, because prior to this experience I have loved Vichy. I will still use my Vichy serum and just chalk this one up to experience. You can’t win them all!

This is one of the products that I saw and immediately wanted to try (also because other L’Oreal brands have their own masks that are similar, if not by ingredients, then by inspiration for sure, Skinceuticals, Biotherm, L’Oreal Paris all have their little jars)! I usually have a “good relationship” with Vichy’s products and they tent to agree with my skin, so I got the mask once it became available. Tried it, the process is really simple, just cleanse skin and apply the clear gel for 5 minutes. Then massage in the left-overs. It spreads incredibly easy, and then sinks in/dries to a rather sticky film on skin, there isn’t much to massage in. And that’s it, it stays sticky until washed away. I left it overnight and it was still a bit sticky in the morning. The rest probably was absorbed by my pillowcase. The mask promises to improve freshness and hydration. Couldn’t notice any improvement in skin’s hydration or plumpness, and due to its stickiness it fails to feel fresh, it’s not even cooling or anything. What’s worse, every time I tried this mask I had a couple whiteheads pop up the next day, so it’s definitely not playing nice with my skin. After 2 tries I gave up, the same disappointment and side effects each time. Luckily I got the 2×6 ml packets to test and not the big jar (I think the jar format became available later, but I could be wrong).

I was looking forward to buying this mask but, having used it just once, I am not really pleased at all. The best thing I can say about this is that it has a beautiful scent – sort of beachy and reminiscent of Biotherm’s Aqua-thermal shower gel. That’s about it. The very minimal instructions say to apply this and leave it for 5 to 10 minutes and then rub the rest into your face. As others have said, though, by that point, the mask has dried to an occlusive film that you can’t rub in unless you are willing to seriously over-manipulate your skin. It felt almost like a thin layer of rubber cement or white craft glue on my face. I didn’t like the idea of leaving that “film” on my skin overnight so I ended up removing it all with a warm face cloth and the skin on my cheeks looked irritated and red. I will give this one or two more tries and then it’s either going back to the store or to my daughter if she likes it. For something that is meant to be “quenching”, it is a major disappointment.

My skin gets really really dry in the winter. Itchy, tight, peeling type of dry. It would take a very good mask to get me to a point where for more than 12-20 hours straight my skin isn’t itchy.
This is a nice mask, but it just wasn’t enough for me. It kept my face comfortable for less than a day, which is what I’d expect from an average moisturizer, not from this type of mask. Using this 3 times a week just isn’t enough if I don’t want a very heavy day cream (which I don’t).
It says to message the access in but this one drys kinda sticky so that wasn’t as simple as it may sound. I tried using this as a night cream but the whole drying sticky was a bit of an issue. I ended up using a very thin layer at night so it dries quickly and it became a nice moisturizer. But that’s all it is for my unbelievably dry face (this may be an incredible mask for someone with an oilier complexion than me). I probably won’t buy this again – I’n on the hunt for something more compatible to my skin type.

I picked up this mask along with the other two Vichy introduced earlier this year and I couldn’t be happier. This one is lovely to use because of the texture and scent. I actually use it as a night moisturizer sometimes. I massage it into my skin after using a thin layer as a mask.

This masque saved my skin! I’ve tried so many products for dry skin and NONE of them work like this product! I have dry skin like the Saharan desert and even though they recommend using this 3x a week, I use this every other night or when the air is dry and it quenches my thirsty skin. I LOVE the fact I don’t have to wash this off, just apply a medium layer and rub the excess in after a few minutes. The price was excellent ($35 I think?), a little goes a long way so the volume is huge and it smells great. I can’t say enough about this stuff!

I can already tell that this is going to be one of my ‘go to’ favorites when the weather gets colder and dryer. I’m currently on vacation in Italy and it’s been scorchingly hot every day. My skin is completely dehydrated, and I picked this up to give my face some relief from all the wine and sun I’ve been getting. This masque smells cool and clean like spa water and applies in a thick gelatinous gel that just coats your face like a soothing cool blanket. I’ve left this on my face for about 40 minutes and it’s much less angry and red. The smell is my favourite part because it’s very relaxing and light. I picked up the travel sized packs of two but I will definitely be going back to buy the full sized jar.
***update, just washed this off and my skin just looooves this mask. My skin feels completely refreshed, hydrated and supple. I will be purchasing the full sized jar ASAP.
