I think that this mask but would be better suited to normal/dry/sensitive skin. Mine is combination/oily and while I enjoy using this mask a lot I surely have tried others that left my face feeling cleaner for a much lower pricetag.

This is not a bad product, but for the price it is not worth it for me. I have use many mask and this is one of the better ones. It does not dry out my skin. I used this mask about 6-7 times. It does give me a nice glowy complexion! I have found similar products that work far better than this for A LOT CHEAPER though! I personally like Arysa’s products. the mask’s are a lot cheaper and work better, plus you get so much more product. Which is why I would not purchase this again.

I use this mask twice a week, it leaves my skin glowing, soft, tight but not dry. I like using it before my weekend makeup because it helps my primer and makeup stay longer. I use it in combination with the DARPHIN purifying oil and you can really see the results on oily skins such as mine.

Love this! The Daprhin clay mask is one of the softest most gentle clay masks I’ve encountered. This is shocking since I’ve had bad experiences with several other Darphin products. I like leaving this mask on for at least 15 minutes at time, and I found that it stays nice and soft without making my skin feel tight or dry. Once I rinsed it off, I felt refreshed. The scent isn’t too strong, the creaminess makes it easy to spread, and the tube is very convenient. I would probably buy something different next because I have yet to find a mask that I’m loyal to but this comes very close.

Shiseido Purifying Mask – Very similar soft text, but not as effective
Caudalie Purifying Mask – More natural, better scent and price, also non drying

I am using this mask for the last 5 years. It is great for my sensitive skin. Honestly, there are masks cleaning somewhat better, but they also destroy my skin. This mask makes no harm to my skin and cleans it quite well. However even though it improves the situation during breakouts and helps to prevent them. For example: yeast mask (yeast with a couple of drops of milk) work better in such cases (but dryes out my skin and looks very inelastic afterwards, plus am allergic to it). This clay mask also prepares skin very well for mechanical cleansing and I don’t feel that I can’t move my face at any moment, even if I keep it on for an hour.

this was my 2nd time using it now and i do this every one a week, i do notice a difference when i ust this product after waiting 15 mintues i rinse it off with cold water and has my ace feel so fresh & ever so soft the next day, i will cont’ using this product forever.

I have used a tube of this expensive clay mask some years ago when I was choosing my skincare products mostly based on the brand, prestige, price and claims, rather than ingredients and facts. I had purchased it after seeing a tube at a friend. I remember using up the whole tube, and it was a pleasurable use. The mask is tinted a green tinged gray and feels very creamy. It does not harden and rinses off relatively easily. I have not experienced any negative skin reactions. But I also haven’t seen pronounced results – well, I was not expecting miracles, but good clay masks do leave my skin clarified (less clogged pores and dead cells) with regular use . Overall, this was a very expensive mask ($55 for 1.7 fl. oz or 50 ml) that did not deliver beyond the feeling of being pampered. Not worth it, won’t repurchase.

This is a great cleansing mask, very creamy and non-drying. I don’t like masks that dry and crack, they do more harm than good. I used my Joelle Ciocco Botanical Scrub first and then put this mask on for 15 minutes. I don’t like the Darphin peeling product as it is messy and annoying, I don’t like the whole concept of pulling and stretching the skin. This mask rinsed off easily and left my skin feeling clean but not tight or dry. I followed with the Hydrating Kiwi Mask. I’d probably buy this mask again although Clarins makes a non-drying cleansing mask that is just like this (the green one).

not a bad mask. good at purifying your skin & smells lovely (i detect ginseng! which kinda explains the exp price) but compared to my aveda mask it isnt good at calming the skin. i like to do mini facials with extractions & the aveda helps at calming my skin. this mask doesnt have that effect but i love the fact that its gentle on my skin (doesnt give a burning effect on my skin which the aveda does sometimes). will repurchase & interchange with aveda mask.
