I don’t know if I got a bad tube, but I got it from Sephora & immediately used it. Consistency, packaging, self-heating efficacy, all perfect. But upon contact with water, it turns into gummy rubbings that I had to double & triple wash my face with face wash & scrub. IT DOESN’T DISSOLVE in water. Am I the only one?? After-effects felt good, face felt soft & clean. But the wash-off was just torture.

I have been using this for a couple of months now, very happy with the product. It is good value for money, very easy to use and seriously gets the job done. Perfectly clean, supple, sebum and grease-free skin. Without knowing the specifics of its composition, you can tell the ingredients are of good quality. It reminds me of my long-trusted Lancaster clay mask- four times the price. I use a multi-step, specialized-ingredient daily skin routine and this has complimented my weekly routine perfectly between hydroxy acids and retinoids (it’s very important to find a right balance and not overdo it).
Tip 1: Keep it in the shower, where you can use it about two times a week. Its consistency is not too thick so it’s best to apply it when you pop in for a quick shower and multi-task without making a mess. Perfect before a night out, to create that extra glow after a long day at the office.
Tip 2: Remove by washing with a gentle facial soap to get all the residue out, apply toner with a cotton pad and, while still damp, put on a skin oil of choice -cheap or expensive, it’s not crucial. Caudalie Premier Cru Elixir is very good for fine lines and loss of firmness, Bio-Oil is fine if you’re younger for example. Seal it all in with a thick moisturiser and have a good night’s sleep. Cheap but effective skin rescue at just three steps!

This product is awful. Used it the day before my prom hoping it would give me a clearer and fresher complexion and it ended up giving me the worst comedogenic breakout I have ever experienced.

Love this product. I’m in love with these self heating products from Soap and Glory and have also purchased the self heating body scrub. Packaging could be a bit better though. When you’re running low it can be a little difficult to squeeze the stuff out and unfortunately the self heating warmth doesn’t last too long but it does feel divine when it’s working! I’d say using this a couple of times a week on my acne prone skin it’s definitely helped to improve the general health of my skin.

I like this but find it doesn’t do enough to make me use it very regularly. I probably won’t repurchase because although I like it, it doesn’t wow me. It smells great, feels great on the skin, and is a nice little treat from time to time, but I don’t notice any massive difference in my skin after using it (except the fact that it feels nice and soft immediately following)

I love this product, the second you scrub it in to your skin you can feel it heat and I swear you can actually feel it cleaning your face. I don’t recommend leaving it on too long, one good scrub for about a minute works best for me. Afterwords my skin feels amazingly clean and refreshed, it doesn’t leave my skin sensitive and that amazingly clean feeling was still in actions hours after using this. Everyone should give this a go.

After reading rave reviews about this products, I went out to Boots and got myself a tube of this. It was quite pricey I thought, for such a small tube, but I was hoping for a miracle since I’ve been cursed with a oily-combi skin with superrr clogged pores. I don’t think it really cleans out my pores because I still see some clogged pores/whiteheads after using which was a little bit disappointing 🙁 BUT the main problem was, after using, the areas on my cheeks (closer to my nose) started to sting (quite a lot actually) and the morning after, there was an EXPLOSION of whiteheads in that affected area!! 🙁 It was horrible!! I didnt know what was going on, and when I touched my face, it felt… scrubby (?) Like it just felt like there were a ton of gunk hidden under my pores that made it feel sandpaper-ish to the touch.
I thought I was allergic to the ingredients in the mask, but the rest of my face was fine. It actually felt smooth, which was quite amazing 🙂
I don’t know what’s going on with my cheek/nose area, so if anyone has any clue, please let me know!!! Thanks in advance :))

Love this product.
I’ve used it once a week for about a month and it works fairly well. One of the best drug store product I’ve used for my blackheads 🙂 Doesn’t dry out my skin

Wow! Have just used this product for the first time. My skin feel refined, smooth, soft and just full of all round fabulousness. Loved the scrub beads, loved the heat effect, loved the smell. It smelt good enough to eat and really added to my luxury bath pampering evening I just indulged in. Highly recommend and a new fav. I’ll repost if my opinion changes after multiply use. Enjoy!
