This mask smells really nice, I’d describe it as “typical” Shiseido scent which is pleasant and not overpowering.
It’s thick and creamy and glides very easily when you’re spreading it on your face.
But it is very greasy. Not in a nice way that it nourishes your skin – it just sits on your skin and never absorbs, leaving a greasy film on your face. So for me it’s better to rinse it off properly then just swipe the excess with cotton pad.
It is good for winter months, but I use it rarely as it feels like my skin would break out like crazy if I put that amount of grease on my skin too often. Better to be safe than sorry 😉

This has been my favourite moisturising mask for years now. It’s silky texture, pretty heavy and sits on your skin for a little then leaves a layer of oil that you can massage all over face. Something to use overnight as great moisture boost. It doesn’t make my skin look divine the next day (nothing does) but is a great home-spa treat.

i use this once a week and it’s the best mask i’ve ever tried, it’s absolutely FANTASTIC for dry skin!!! my skin starts glowing! i have dry and sensitive skin, this product did some great things for my skin!

I purchased this product is because what i heard was this product is quite awesome, but i personaly feel that the product is not as good as the articles and advertiments which i read them online. I wouldn’t say the product is no good, maybe it is not suitable for my skin type!

I used the mask for a long period. Just changed the product not to get used to and also because it is quite expensive in my country. But the product is great. It asks just for some 5-7 minute to work. I usually did it whlile took a shower. Once I will come back for it.

I recently bought this mask because I felt as though my skin was drying out. I’ve always loved Shiseido products and the SA recommended this mask for my skin type. I enjoyed massaging the mask into my skin but honestly it wasn’t moisturizing. I left it on my face for about 20 minutes before washing it off, the worst thing about the mask is that it leaves a greasy oily film on your face. Won’t be purchasing again, still on the lookout for a HG moisturizing mask!

This is an AWESOME mask! It makes my skin so soft and so moisturized! My routine for using this includes cleansing, exfoliating and then starting off with Shiseido The Skincare Purifying Mask. The purifying one deep cleanses, so it strips off literally all the oil from my face and my face is quite tight afterwards, so in order to put the moisture back into my face, I follow up with the Moisture Relaxing Mask. For me, I rinse, because the mask is a bit sticky, but I’m left with baby-soft skin and I just seal it off with Shiseido The Skincare Night Moisture Recharge Light to finish off my mask routine. Works really great on stressed skin. My skin isn’t dry–it’s on borderline oily and normal and it hasn’t given me any breakouts! Love this to death, so 5 lippies from me.

I recently bought this and just gave it a try- I love it! I usually don’t like massaging creams onto my face and rinsing them off (I prefer pre-packed masks), but it left my skin baby soft. I used it after washing my face with La Mer’s Cleansing Foam (my hg facial cleanser) and Shiseido’s Softening Lotion. Because it felt a little thick, I rinsed off with cool water instead of dabbing it off with tissue. My skin feels cool and relaxed- I will definitely repurchase! My one complaint is the packaging, I am not a big fan of dipping my fingers into jars; I wish it came with a spatula!

I just tried this product in the store. It’s really moisturizing and my skin feels like a baby’s. It eliminated the dry patches I had on my cheeks.
For the record, I have combo skin with very dry cheeks and the beauty expert used it on mine. I would definitely buy it again and again!! Worth the price!

Most of the time, I prefer not to have fragrance in my skincare products but I must say that this fragrance is really nice and relaxing. The SA actually told me this is for aromatherapy. That’s part of the reason that I bought it when the SA pursuaded me to give this a try while I was actually buying a toner.
Anyway, I currently have acne outbreak, which made my skin a bit flaky at the acne areas and pretty sensitive too. I massage this on my face and then leave it on face while shower. After using this mask, the flakiness was gone after I wiped the cream away with tissue paper. Sorry if this sounds gross, but I actually saw traces of dead skin with the wiped-off cream. I found my skin a bit sticky after this, so I rinsed my face and yay! I feel that my skin is hydrated and really SOFT! I keep on swiping my own face like an idiot, lol. I feel that my skin is really well pampered. Highly recommended. 🙂

After usage of this for almost 2 years, this is STILL my HG mask esp for dry patches on face. I find that massaging is important for this mask and I find that leaving it on face while showering is nice too (though you have to be careful not let water run through your face, lol). Leaving this on face for sufficient time is very iomportant, well, at least for me. I usually leave it on my face for like 20 mins coz I always use this when I shower. Btw, being so lazy, I usually wash off the mask with water directly and skip the tissue-wipping step. HTH.
