I have combo/normal skin with no huge issues. I read reviews that this would help mostly with redness, including sunburn. Due to my fair skin, no matter how often/much/or what I use on my face, if I’m outside in the sun all day, I’ll be slightly red come bedtime. I used this as a mask for my irritated face, and it was like magic. Instant cool relief, and the little redness I had faded by morning. This stuff works better than aloe vera (and leaves none of the stickiness).

I personally didn’t notice any difference and didn’t like the way it felt like plastic on my face but to be fair my skin has been behaving nicely lately and there’s no irritation to address.

I got a free sample of this at Sephora after talking to one of the employees about how the Evercalm cleanser is hard to find in my neighborhood and how I really liked that product. I was really apprehensive about trying it since my skin is super sensitive and I break out easily Since it comes out of a pump it’s really sanitary (otherwise I wouldn’t dare take a tester from sehora) and the pump is one of the reasons I love this mask (contimantion is gross).
This actually helps to clear up my skin and my tone. The next morning my skin is noticeably less red, moisturized, pimple have calmed. I ordered a full size bottle and when I initially used the pump wayyyyy too much product came out for me. I only really need to use half a pump, I apply a really thin layer and remove it after about 15 minutes. I wouldn’t risk sleeping in this, because like I said I break out easily.
I keep it in the fridge and it’s really cooling when applied. I’m ok with the price, I actually got this on 25% off and free shipping from Ren directly. Love!
For reference my skin is combo, dehydrated, acne prone, and sensitive (lucky me!)

Like the reviewer bizzymom, I’m, well, as busy mom. I work full time and have lots of side projects, and I believe in investing in great skincare. Some of said skincare (Drunk Elephant Framboos glycolic serum, Sunday Riley Luna oil) contain actives that while greatly improving my skin in many regards, can make it red or irritated (along with other environmental factors and a natural predisposition towards sensitivity).
I was blown away by this mask. I had itchy dermatitis bumps on one of my cheeks when I received a sample from Sephora in my order, and at first I blew it off. It wasn’t a sample I’d chosen. However, my skin was pretty uncomfortable.
Also like bizzymom, I left it on overnight, and woke up with calm, clear glasslike skin. It made my skin feel so perfect and peaceful. I had enough to use all over (on top of my Tacha The Water Cream) the next night, and same thing. I will be purchasing this week! This is one of those must-have products for me. It provides moisture and evenness after rinsing that provides a beautifully smooth canvas for makeup.
Take my packaging review with a grain of salt, as I only have had the sample packets but I can see from photos that it’s hygienic and lightfast.

My new HG… makes my skin super smooth and soft… eases the look of ‘texture” or, as I call it, 60 year old, sun damaged skin… smells great… I don’t break out in flakies on my chin toward the end of the day like I used to.
will repurchase. and repurchase again… weird how some things work great for some, not so great for others. I do leave it on overnight, so maybe that helps….

I used on half of my red irritated skin this mask and Vaseline on the other half. Guess which one removed redness quicker? The cheapest of the two!
