I used to use the Freeman Acai mask, but I won’t be buying that again because this clay mask is so much better!
You only need a thin layer to do the trick! I leave it on my face for 20-30 minutes, which I could never do with the acai mask since it would dry out and make my skin tingle after 20 minutes. And even though I keep it on so long, as it dries, it doesn’t leave my face feeling tight because of the moisturizers they’ve added. As for clearing my pores, it clears out my pores much, much better than the acai mask. The pores in my face get completely cleared out, and the blackheads on my nose get so much cleaner and fainter. I hadn’t seen my pores and blackheads this clean since before I hit puberty! (Though to be fair, I’ve never used pore strips because they’re too expensive.) Also, my skin feels so fresh and clean afterwards, without feeling overly dry like I experienced after using the acai mask.
This has an extremely strong scent, but I love it! It smells like a men’s aquatic/ocean cologne. I got this for about $3 or $4 at a black friday sale, or else I would have never bought it because it’s way to expensive for only 4oz of product, when you can buy a 6 oz Freeman mask for $4 or $5.

I was initially bummed because I accidentally purchased 2 of these on sale, I had only meant to buy one to try it out. But now I am glad! This clay mask is possibly gentle enough to use every day, imho – leaves my skin so incredibly soft! Not sure if I expect any miracles from it, but it really leaves me skin feeling clean and soft.
Update: This product certainly isn’t bad, but it’s just okay. It is an affordable option.

Thankfully, this was on sale at Target for around 6 bucks. I thought I would try this out since this brand isn’t exactly cheap. This brand is cruelty-free, natural, and organic, so I really like that about Alba Botanica. The mask comes in a tube and is white in color. I don’t like the smell too much because it can come off too strongly, but it smells like a man’s cologne. After the mask dries, it feels stiff and the smell isn’t as strong. I like the way it feels on the face. It feels very comfortable to apply the mask, and I can feel my pores tighten up a little bit. I leave it on for 5 minutes or more and then rinse it off with warm water. I think my skin feels more supple and my pores are minimized. I think that this is a really great mask that is all natural. It is very creamy in texture, so there is nothing irritating about it besides the smell. All in all, I really like this mask and use an Alba Botanica moisturizer along with it, so it delivers amazing results for my skin. I would recommend this mask to anyone. If smell doesn’t bother you, then seriously try it!

I have been so excited to review this..well…try it, THEN review it. It was worth every penny!!! My face feels clean and soft. I followed up with a rosewater toner and a coq10 moisturizer. My face and decolletage area feel so soft and smooth…no grit or grime at all…just clean and soft. A definite a plus for this mask!!! I have been searching forever…finally..I have fallin’ in love with Alba deep sea facial mask!!!

This makes my face look brighter, feel smoother and cleaner, and has over time improved the amount of redness.
I use this twice a week for 15-30 minutes when I want a deep and fresh clean.

I absolutely LOVED what this product did to my face! Obvious change in texture and definitely helped even out my skin tone. Not for the extra sensitive skin though!

I use this mask about once a week. I might get better use out of it if I used it more often, but I tend to be in a hurry with my skincare regime. This stuff is very relaxing, great for a little at-home spa day. 🙂 Smells amazing, does a good job of making my skin feel cool and soft (my skin tends toward feeling too hot, oily, itchy, red, and uncomfortable, not to mention my tendency toward blemishes if I’m not vigilant). I do believe it has a little bit of a drying effect on existing pimples, but I don’t know that that’s it’s primary purpose. For me, it just kind of calms everything down and makes my skin more comfortable.

Love this mask by Alba Bontanica! It makes my skin feel completely different after using it. This mask cleansing and for me it really does remove impurities and makes my skin feel less oily. You only need to use thin layers of this mask for it to do it’s job which is great because then you use less product. I feel that it’s way too drying to use on a daily basis but I use it about 3 times a week to help keep my skin clean.

This mask is dumb. It doesn’t dry, its very hard to wash off, it smells bad and it broke me out! The end.
