This Clinique mask for oily skin has been discontinued many years ago! I remember trying it Bc it was free from their gwp events ! I wasn’t that fond of it Bc it was irritating ???? Bc it had menthol inside it & it had dried out my face! ???????? But I’m liking their replacement for it their acne mask is really great ???? for my oily clog problem skin!

I know that this mask is discontinued so probably no point in writing a review but I just want to add that this was my most favourite mask. You can only put it on for 5 minutes and it dries quick and easy to wash off. I have used this mask at least 5-6 tubes and the consistency is good enough to spread on the face and also easy to squeeze out of tube. Unlike other masks, you don’t have to wait for a long time for it to dry either. I love this mask and wish clinique did not discontinued this great mask. Oh well. Seems like my favourite items are getting discontinued.

I have precancerous cells on my face from the sun, so I’ve used sunscreen every day for as long as I can remember. I recently tried a new sunscreen because they didn’t have the kind I usually use, and I had an awful reaction to it. Usually if I’m allergic to sunscreen I get a few whiteheads after a few days and I just stop using it. This time, though, I used it for two weeks and got bumps all over my face and my skin was red and raw and extremely sensitive. This is the first time I’ve ever gotten a breakout… although I’m only 14, so there are probably more to come.
I was looking into drugstore face masks to hopefully make my face better, and I decided to check if my mom had any first. I found this under her sink and I figured I may as well give it a shot. After all, it’s an “emergency” mask, right?
This hasn’t completely cleared up my face, but it’s definitely helped. The blackheads that I’ve had for a really long time are now gone. The little bumps are still there, but they don’t itch anymore. My face isn’t as raw and red as it was before. Some of the other reviews said it was too drying, but I don’t think so. My skin is naturally oily, but I moisturize so much that it’s normal/dry now… it left my skin feeling a little bit dry, but not tight. I followed up with Philosophy’s Hope oil free spf30 moisturizer, and my skin felt soft and smooth and it didn’t sting! This definitely isn’t a miracle product for break outs, but I think it’ll help with regular use. It’s a really good blackhead remover, though. I haven’t really tried anything to remove them besides at-home remedies, but this definitely works. I wish it wasn’t discontinued (I looked it up), but I’ll be stealing this from my mom if she doesn’t use it!

Very, very drying, even though I only left it on for the recommended 5 minutes. My chin was super red and peeled a lot. I don’t even think it did much for clogged pores. I’m going to use it all up, but only because I paid $15 for it. I won’t repurchase.

I’ve used several types of masks from drugstore to higher end, even DIY masks to combat my acneic skin. This mask is the one product I keep coming back to because it’s so effective in controlling my acne. I used around my time of month when my skin is at its worst. The directions say to leave it on for 5 minutes, but I leave it on or 10 minutes. It has a tingy feeling because of the menthol, so I don’t think it would be the right mask for sensitive or dry skin. After I wash the product off, my face feels sooo clean and refreshed. My face doesn’t stripped or too dry to the point where my skin flakes off. But I do use a light moisturizer afterwards, as how I do after using all masks. overall, I keep coming back to this mask. I hope it’s not discountinued!

This one is great! I use it once a week on my combination/oily skin and it makes my pores look much smaller in size and I just love it so much!
It’s not for dry or sensitive skin. It feels dry on the skin but when I wash it off my skin feels just very smooth and not dry. I have problem with large pores and blackheads but this mask has helped a lot! The price is a bit high though but it last a long time. Definitly worth it! LOVE it!!!

I have very acne-prone skin and this product works great with me!
I use it about once a week and it really pulls out all of the built up stuff in my pores.
Apply a thin layer, wait for about five minutes, and wash off!
But, it can dry out the skin and will leave your skin feeling really tight.

They discontinued this product?! I found it at a local CCO. Since everything is much cheaper there, I see no reason why I should purchase at a counter (unless freebies are included). Anyway.. great product. My skin feels nice and taught after use. Some tiny pimples that were starting to form disappeared and those pimples that look like they’re about to get worse- you know, the painful bump that isnt red yet, but looks like it’s gonna be epic- stopped in it’s tracks! I havent used this for very long to claim but I’ll update if I notice anything. Smells like sulfur. Too bad…

I have been using this product for only a couple of days but so far, I really like it. My skin has been acting up lately so one day while strolling the counter, I saw this and decided I’d try it. What I love about it so far is that it is extremely effective at bringing swollen, stubborn pimples that don’t want to pop to their knees. I had a doozy on my forehead that was just a lump taunting me with its unwillingness to come to the surface. I put this stuff on over the course of a day, rinsing and reapplying, and not long after I was finally able to get the stubborn lump to succumb to the pressure of my fingertips. TMI, but what a mess.
Anyway, I like this mask because it makes me victorious over the most stubborn blemishes and doesn’t reek of sulfur/eggs/farts like my DDF mask did (that one made me skin stink ALL day even after washing, horrible). It is also nowhere near as expensive as the DDF mask and the packaging is so much better since the DDF tub is constantly drying up. This mask also really dries up any oil and moisture which is sort of painful for a dry skinned girl like me but the results of having one less pimple to fight with make it totally worth it. Overall, recommended!
EDIT: HOLY CRAP. I left this on a pimple too long a couple days ago and the entire area the layer was on became red, dry, patchy and even elevated – like a welt. The pores on my cheek also expanded to the largest I’ve seen it. I’m treating it and I’m sure it’ll clear up but go easy on this one! This was one of those times where longer didn’t = better. Whoops!

Too tight my skin after using it,even it seems to help to clean deeply. Will not buy it again.
