Let me start off this review by saying that I found this at my local Dollarama for 3 bucks. I could tell that this product was on the expensive side just from the way the packaging felt and I picked it up based on that.
The actual mask is white, quite creamy, and easy to apply to the skin. It’s in a tube and dispenses quite well. I usually leave it on for however long I desire even though the packaging states 15 minutes. Taking it off requires a bit of time though since the mask doesn’t wash away that easily. So I like to spend time rubbing it into my skin, loosening it up, before washing it away, although a wash cloth would be super helpful as well. And wow! When I look into the mirror, my face is brighter, clearer, and my acne is less red and appears to have dried up a bit. I used this last night before my usual routine and I woke up with nice, smooth skin, along with some nasty areas dried up and able to peel off. Gross I know, but super satisfying.
The thing is, for 3 bucks? I would most definitely repurchase. And I did. I went back to Dollarama and bought two more from a full shelf. The next day, I found myself there again, and there were none left. So I’m glad I stocked up. But. This mask retails for around 20 dollars at Shoppers and I think $15 at Walmart. Some may easily spend that much on masks, but I am not one of those people. You do get a lot of the mask but I can’t ever see myself spending that much on one mask, which is why I won’t repurchase this when I eventually run out. If I find it at Dollarama again though? That’s a totally different story.
