I got this in a mini deluxe pot.
I love the fact this Scottish brand is organic, however i didn’t like this mask.
It is supposed to be left acting overnight, but i couldn’t bear to have it on my skin more than one hour.
First: it is VERY thick. You can barely spread it on your face. Its grainy and the smell is unpleasant. Of course it is natural… however the smell of these oils is not ok.
Then it’s so greasy….like coating your face in greasy paint. I felt like i had a coat of wax on my face and my face was unable to breathe.
My eyes got watery and stingy (= the product melts with the warmth of your skin and eventually migrate into the eyes), can’t absolutely imagine to keep this overnight. Can you imagine the greasy mess on your pillow? And your eyes?
I decided to remove this as i said, after just one hour as i could not bear it.
Impossible to rinse with hot water …(That’s what you do with masks generally) that stuff was so greasy and sticky that i had to use a foaming cleanser… basically all the stuff that was supposed to help your skin, gets washed off. Got bumps and clogged pores afterwards. Gor me, a big fat NO.
