   I used this during a bout of some serious dehydration issues, and even though I used it the day after La Mer’s Hydrating Treatment Mask, by the time I removed it my skin was exactly the same as it had been before applying it. The actual tissue mask itself is made from a very cheap material which instantly felt different to other tissue masks I’ve used in the past. I left it on for around 10 minutes and then massaged the excess serum into my parched skin and let it dry and remain on overnight. At first glance, just before getting to sleep, my skin looked the same and by morning there still wasn’t any difference. Unfortunately I only had one of the La Mer masks with me and 2 more of the Holika ones (which I didn’t use). For normal skin types or if you’re looking to cool down your skin or relieve sunburn during hot weather, I can imagine these will work a treat, however all that Aloe gel on its own doesn’t do a thing for dehydration unless combined with humectants – which is something the La Mer Mask managed to get just right. I’ll do a write up on that one later today…
