I bought his on an Ulta sale; just trying out new mascaras. Didn’t have high expectations to be honest, but I was very pleasantly surprised.
The formula is just right, it gives a bit of volume but it lengthen my lashes, while really giving me definition. It doesn’t clump up even when I apply a second coat. It last all day without flaking or smudging (even on hot days), so it made very happy.
What I fell in loved more was the lower lash brush, super thin, easy to work with, super defines my lashes, gives them length. Something I thought was super gimmicky, was what I loved about this mascara.
The Upper lashes brush, it is ok. A little to big for my eyes and lashes, but the cone shape helps a lot in working with it without ending up with my eye area full of mascara. It is the type of ‘natural’ bristles so it help a lot in defining and coating my lashes.
I find it a bit expensive but Ulta is always having sales, so it might become part of my permanent collection.

Use it everyday. Great at volumizing lashes. Doesn’t smudge or flake.

Ulta Twice As Nice Mascara
As a mascara junkie I’m always on the hunt for one that works better, lasts longer and is priced right. I may have found it!
Having a gift card for Ulta from Christmas (2013) I figured it was time to use it and get myself some new makeup for Fall. Never having used an Ulta mascara I decided to try the Twice As Nice ($12.00) because of the brushes. The one brush for top lashes and one for bottom is nothing new but I’ll tell you what, I REALLY like the formula of this mascara. I purchased the Jet Black which is a perfect black for me.
The top lash brush is tapered just right and reaches all my lashes from the inner corners to the outer while the bottom lash brush is very thin and flexible making it easy to coat without getting the product everywhere. The formula is not too wet or too dry so it does do a good job of coating lashes, it’s very buildable too.
This mascara volumizes, lengthens and holds the curls without making my lashes feel hard or look spikey. I did not experience any flaking and when it came to removing it, I used non oily eye makeup remover pads which took it all off easily. I’m really liking this product and would definitely buy again.
