Very skinny mascara, good for light coat of mascara/undereye lashes.

my lashes has been through so much in the past couple of years. I had lash extensions for 3 years then after removing them I had the thinnest shortest and limpiest lashes. Tried Latisse and grew them out but stopped using it and they went back to the short whimpy lashes again. Nothing works to hold the curl and to make them look fluttery and not clumpy. I love how thin this brush is and how it grabs every little lash and makes them look long and natural without any clumps. The wand never picks up too much product so it never gets goopey or apply excess mascara on the lashes. i never have to re-drip for both my eyes. Its not the best at holding the curl because I didn’t get the waterproof version but it makes my lashes look natural and adds a bit of color. This will not give you va va vroom lashes but it will give you a bit of length and very pretty look to the lower lashes. Easy to remove as well with just micella water.
I have the regular version in black and I really love using this more than other macaras because of the tiny brush. Something so satisfying about grabbing every upper and lower lash. It doesn’t smudge or flake at all. It was about 11$. I wish it held the curl so I do want to try Loreal Telescopic waterproof after I finish this to see if that one will be better

I have mixed feelings about this mascara. On one hand, I LOVE that it has a skinny tightline brush AND comes in BROWN. For us those of us with blonde eyelashes that is almost a Godsend, since it gets to the roots AND does not overpower our faces. It has a dry formula and is best for just adding a touch of color to the lashes, without length or volume. Often, this is all I desire, so I thought this mascara would work for me, given the brown tight-lining benefits that I mentioned. Unfortunately, blonde lashes often means sensitive eyes, as well, and this product could not be worse, in that regard. It is waterproof, although I did not see it marketed as such, and it is very difficult to remove. I tried to remove it a few nights ago, and it just would not budge at the base of my lashes, so I went to sleep, only to wake up with a corneal abrasion, from the product flaking into my eyes while I was sleeping. 🙁 If you do not have sensitive eyes, this may not be an issue for you. If you do, avoid this mascara.

I have average length, average volume eyelashes and I prioritize volume and separation over length and curl when it comes to mascaras. Mascaras rarely smudge on me and I dislike ones that are difficult to remove so I almost never buy waterproof. My favourite mascaras are Covergirl Lash Blast Volume and Too Faced Better Than Sex (although the latter sometimes smudges, and it goes clumpy after a month). I always apply one coat of mascara to lashes that are damp from setting spray because it helps separate and fan them out better. I do not curl my lashes.

I’m surprised that I love this mascara so much because I always assumed it would be gimmicky – like the main selling point is how thin the brush is. The formula itself is actually quite good – dark black, doesn’t smudge, easy to remove, doesn’t flake. The only thing I dislike about it is that it does this weird thing where the tips of my lashes sometimes clump together in groups of three. Kinda like a pyramid. Like you can clearly see the separated 3 lashes but then they join at the very tip to make a triangle. It’s worse when I don’t apply it over setting spray. It’s not very noticeable to be honest, I’m just very very fussy on having every single lash be separated.
The above issue isn’t bad enough to make me dislike the mascara (even though clumpiness is a deal breaker for me) because I just go over it with my Lash Blast Volume brush when that happens as it separates it out. I usually always have one of those CG back up mascaras on hand because they work perfectly to prevent clumps when that happens with my main mascara. Although this isn’t the most flattering mascara I own, I really like it a lot because the brush is great to use and my lashes were never my focal point anyway. I will continue to repurchase and use it on its own (except occasionally when I want to go over it with another mascara).
I’ve also worn this through a couple of storms and never once had it run.

So far this is my favorite mascara since Loreal changed their formula. It has a very tiny skinny flimsy brush that takes getting used to. But once you get used to it, you can coat every tiny lash in one coat. The mascara is very black, lengthening with fibers that don’t flake off during the day and most importantly- is easy to wash off with just soap and water. It requires a bit more scrubbing than I prefer but it comes off completely without the extra step of using makeup remover. Inexpensive, long lasting. I am impressed with every Korean brand of makeup I try.
