My favorite drugstore mascara. Surprised by the lower rating. I tend to be unlucky with other drugstore mascaras but the brush and formula of this little gem combines to deliver a nice long, clean and separated look. Natural with a hint of lift. No smudging or flaking and lasts all day. Sometimes I like to layer this on top of a more volumizing mascara for a bit of oomph. Of course I prefer a one mascara does it all, and generally I prefer dramatic lashes rather than natural (which I tend to have better luck with higher end mascaras for this), but this mascara is definitely the one I wouldn’t hesitate to repurchase from the high street.

It’s a very good waterproof mascara: it’s stays put, doesn’t smudge even in a humid environment, lengthens my eyelashes, looks beautiful, but most importantly to me – it holds the curl. My lashes are naturally extremely straight and only some mascaras (mostly waterproof ones) can keep my lashes curled (I still must apply the mascara within 5 seconds after curling my lashes to keep them up).
Initially, I was not very comfortable with such a big mascara brush, but I finally got used to it. However, it is still too big for my lower lashes and that’s my only problem with this product. I have to have a separate, small brush mascara for the lower lashes.
Btw, for me it performs the best about after a month of using it, when the product becomes a little bit drier.

This is my favourite mascara. It makes my lashes long, but not spidery. It actually stays on in the rain and makes me look more awake. Never smudges on me (I only use it on my top lashes).

I tried both the wp and non-wp versions based on reviews and positive feedback on the boards. Here’s a summary for both. The non-wp was a total waste of money – didn’t hold a curl, clumpy as heck and the brush is hard to work with. The waterproof was a little better since it holds a curl really well and my sister (who’s a professional MUA) asked me what mascara I was using so it’s noticeable in a good way. The bad side is that it smudged underneath my eyes and was very hard to remove. I’ll stick with L’oreal from now on.

I really like this mascara. It gives a lot of length and a decent amount of volume, and on good days I can get a nice fan effect thing going on, as advertised. It is really, truly waterproof, and will last for hours. and hours. and hours. without flaking or smudging.
It’s too waterproof for me, actually, and I’m going to try the non-waterproof version.
This mascara gives a nice balance in between ‘natural’ and ‘glam’. If you’re not careful it will get spider-y. I only ever do one coat: coat the lashes with the little bristles, fan them out with the long ones.
Where I live this is quite expensive. I bought it 50% off and I’m not sure I would buy it again at full price.

Doesn’t lengthen or widen as much as the washable version, but does hold a curl and has better staying power. It’s fairly cheap and the brush is amazing for lash separation and fanning them out – it’s a rubbery/silicone type wand, curved with bristles. When I used it up, I threw away the tube but cleaned and kept the wand to use as a lash comb of sorts. As it’s rubbery, it’s easier to clean and re-use.
For its price this really isn’t a bad mascara – one of the better drugstore ones, I feel.

Gives you disney princess, super long lashes. Because it’s more lengthening and less volumizing.
I didn’t really run into clumps, but if there were i just combed through with it with a lash comb. Also- it lasts super long, the whole day- heck, i apply my makeup around 6 in the morning and sometimes there are nights when i’m so tired I forget to wash my makeup off and guess what? my mascara is still on my face the next morning and hardly smudged. If you find difficulty in removing it try using cleansing oils. If you like bambi, fluttery, princess eyes GET THIS. if you’re into the everyday slightly voluminous look get their volum’ express hypercurl mascara.

I normally only use mascaras from Max Factor but seeing my friend using this (And the amazing results she got) i had to try it. It was okay the first month, it’s easy to apply but it doesn’t last a full for me. Furthermore it’s not waterproof at all! It didn’t hold the curl and it simply wasn’t amazing but not bad either. I will not repurchase because there is better waterproof mascaras out there that actually last a normal work day and that doesn’t disappear throughout the day.

I’m a student. For class I really like this because I wear minimal makeup but want to look a bit feminine. My lashes are long and straight, I really like this mascara.It’s perfect for my needs because you can wear it subtly or easily apply it for a more dramatic look, which suits my nightlife (it’s great for dancing!)
I also use it at work and the other day I had a 9 hour shift it 40 degree celsius heat, but the mascara did not smudge even though I was sweating.
If you need a mascara which will LAST then I highly recommend this.
