I’ve been using a deluxe sample of this for a couple weeks now and really like it. It’s a dark black formula that holds a curl well and gives some nice fluffy volume. This wand catches every hair and the bristles are firm and long enough to lift and separate my lashes unlike the shorter bristled silicone wands. Like most mascaras I get the best results if I wipe most of the product on the brush onto the back of my clean hand and then apply 2 thin coats after curling my lashes and letting them dry completely in between coats. For the second I use the wand to pick up what’s left on the back of my hand so minimal product gets wasted. The air exposure dries the mascara down a bit which helps to prevent clumping. This doesn’t disappear mid day, irritate my eyes or give me raccoon eyes. Its $25 a tube at Ulta which is expensive but in line with other brands like Too Faced and Tarte.

Saw this at Ulta in their little caddies by the register and I gave in and bought it, but I’m not mad at myself because it’s actually a good mascara for me. I”m in my 60s so have fading lashes that are long thanks to Latisse but they are fine in texture and very fragile. This mascara delivered volume that wasn’t heavy that held up all day in August heat and humidity. No fading, smudging or flaking. It also preserves the curl I painstakingly put in my lashes. Comes off with eye makeup remover. Love the packaging. It’s cute and a textured tube so easy to grip and hold onto. Cost is tad high coming in at $24 but I’ve been wearing it daily and it is pretty damn good!
