I received deluxe sample from ulta. I have worn it twice and am pretty impressed. not a lot of volume however length is awesome and it doesn’t clump. it also doesn’t flake or smudge on me and is easy to remove.

I really wanted to like this product, since it’s space age fancy packaging seemed legit. Got it in a free sample bag from Ulta so the price was right. It didn’t do anything for my lashes, and my lashes are already pretty thick and full. The applicator was quite stiff and I ended up jabbing myself in the eye with it and thought Well, This Is How It Ends. Luckily I did not do any permanent damage and no one needs to call me Patch. This product did not work out for me.

Did not hold a curl and it smudges under my eyes like a mofo. No way I’m paying for a full size. Ulta gave me a deluxe sample and I knew after only a few uses, this was a dud for me.

Unfortunately, this is probably the worst mascara I’ve ever used, and I really wanted to like this. The “extensions” in this mascara only worked on me the first 2 times I used it. There was no more lengthening after the first couple of times, and I don’t see any fibers on the wand anymore. Also, this smudged under my eyes HORRIBLY unlike any other mascara I’ve ever used. I much prefer Mally’s Volumizing mascara and even a drugstore mascara like Covergirl Clump Crusher. I have a video talking about these mascaras along with other ones if you want to check it out. Maybe if they ever come out with a waterproof version of this, I might give that one a try.

After reading some of the reviews here and on Ulta.com, I had mixed feelings about this product, but I went and bought it anyway, with the idea that I could return it to Ulta if it didn’t do anything for me. But to my surprise, it actually gives my lashes a little bit of length (no volume though, which is why I’m giving it only 4 lippies).
After a couple of years of using Latisse (at $150 a vial) and then discontinuing it, it seemed like my lashes were completely disappearing or even falling out. With this product, at least I look like I have something “sprouting” out of my eyelids, LOL. Nobody would think I wore false eyelashes, but I’m happy with what I’m getting. I do like the ball tip because I can reach some previously inaccessible lashes.

Not a bad formula, but my lashes are sparse, thin, short, delicate, like cobwebs, ever since I passed menopause. The large ball at the end of the wand does a good job of getting at lashes hidden in corners, but the size of the brush means I get at least as much mascara on my skin as on my lashes. Worth trying if you have more normal eyelashes than I do.

Amazing. Gorgeous. I love IT! My go to mascara. I got with from ulta because of the 21daysofulta thing. It has become my go to mascara. It was paired with an eyeliner that is equally beautiful.

This stuff just came out here in Canada, so I was one of the first people to try this little miracle ! I am 50, use lash enhancing serum so my lashes are long, but fairly thin and fine., and it’s hard to hold a curl. I received this mascara with it’s little fibers all melted into the mascara, and was blown away by the “butterfly effect”. Tiny lashes I hadn’t even known were there showed up. I was very happy to have these long lashes like in my 20’s again! I work 12 hr shifts and IT stuff lasts all day , it is quality mascara that doesn’t.have little flakes or smudges. It.also comes off easily with makeup remover. All in all, one great product so far. Another IT product that hits it out.of the park!

Really loving my many other It Cosmetic products, but IDK about this mascara. Having never tried the original Hello Lashes I can’t compare this to that either. I have to apply several coats to even see it! Just DOES NOT VOLUMIZE for me. Length is OK, but nothing phenomenal. Does curl and hold a curl somewhat. I like that it is non irritating and easy to remove though. Some, very minut flaking. Looks like a couple very short hairs on my upper cheek bones. Must be the fibers. No big deal. For an everyday, natural look this could work. Also, if you are blessed with long, thick lashes I can see this working better as well. But, on my sparser lashes, can’t get a lot of definition without MANY COATS. If someone has tried this and the original Hello Lashes and finds the original better, please let me know as I would exchange to try! I like that It Cosmetics doesn’t test on animals 🙂
EDIT* I’m going to bump this up 1 lippie as I found a way to get more volume. You have to wait a little bit after the first coat to add more coats effectively. Looks pretty good. And I think I would buy again. Not a mascara to use if you’re in a hurry though.

I really wanted to love this product, as I love the company! I had tried other 2 step mascaras in the past (with a base and separate fibers) which never worked for me, so I loved the idea of this mascara with the melted fibers.
This mascara promises to add both length and volume. For me, it only added length, no volume at all. The product takes a long time to dry as well, and smears easily. When removing the wand from the bottle, the ball end of the wand is completely coated with product, making it impossible to use as described without wiping off and wasting a lot of product.
The worst thing, however, was within 2-3 hours after application, little bits of fiber started coming off and getting in my eyes, which was very painful. After using eyedrops and carefully blotting my eyes, the mascara was basically gone, it completely wiped off!
I am returning this product for a refund, I cannot recommend it.
