I’m a sucker for impulse purchases. I’m a marketers dream, anyway, this was at the front of the checkout at Sally Beauty Supply and I thought, why not? I have a problem. I can say it. Well, im so glad I got this! I love Benefit’s They’re Real mascara and was excited to find the similarity of the brush when I opened this. I think I like this better than Benefit’s bc it leaves my lashes softer. I don’t need a lot of volume, mostly length and curl. And this delivered!! For the price I will definitely buy again! I am becoming more and more a fan of Femme Couture products! If you need a decently priced mascara that separates, hold a curl, and gives great length give this a try! After reading the other reviews in planning trying their lengthening mascara! Until next time, Sally Beauty Supply!!

This barely gave any volume, and it was super hard to remove for a nonwaterproof mascara (I like to just rub off my mascara with water and this left black soot on lashes and fingertips). I much prefer this brand’s Long Lash version.

I got this mascara back in March after finishing my sample of Benefit They’re Real from December. I liked Benefit, but didn’t love it and wanted to find something similar and less expensive. So I tried this, since the brush is VERY similar to Benefit. I didn’t like it at first, as I don’t with most mascaras, but I didn’t hate it. I liked that it left my lashes less stiff, less crunchy than BTR. I didn’t like that the bristles are just a little shorter/pricklier than their brush. Once I got used to the brush, it didn’t bother me after that. I actually prefer this over the Benefit They’re Real now. Doesn’t smudge, easy to remove, leaves lashes soft no matter how many coats are applied. Great for a 2nd layer mascara. I may repurchase it again, someday. The ONLY reason I took off a lippy is because the bristles are a little too spiked/short for me, if they were longer and a bit more pliable this mascara would be amazing.

For length and separation this is a great mascara. The brush holds just the right amount of product, and with 2 or 3 coats lashes are volumized without looking clumpy. For the price this is a winner!

This is my new favorite mascara, along with Maybelline’s The Rocket. The packaging design is nice because as you pull the brush out of the tube, all the excess mascara gets cleaned off. The brush itself is a plastic spikey wand with little bristles at the tip. It’s excellent at separation and really getting into those small inner corner lashes. The mascara formula and the wand build length and volume beautifully. Although this isn’t waterproof, I haven’t had any issues with flaking or smudging. That’s really saying something because I have allergies and my eyes are constantly watering! Femme Couture products are kinda hit and miss but I’m so glad I tried this product. It’s a hit!

I work at a beauty store and it’s a new product, so I got one as a sample and I figured I may as well try it. From what I’ve used, Femme Couture products tend to be very hit or miss, and this was a miss.
The Cons?
– Not waterproof, so it runs
– The brush is easily bent by the tube
– Dries out quickly; there isn’t a lot of product in the tube (which is pretty typical of this brand, I’ve noticed)
– Pricey, especially for the amount of product you actually get
– Doesn’t give as much volume or length as any other mascara I’ve used through the years
– The brush is very stiff and physically hurt my eyelids
– Very flaky, even as you’re applying it
Pros?
– Doesn’t clump, at least for the first two weeks (after which it dries out)
– Good for getting the lashes closest to the nose
– Decent length, if you use enough of it
– The tube is designed to pull excess mascara off of the brush
