Does what it says it will: stays on those lashes in any conditions: heat, sweat, humidity — it has never budged.
Texture is a bit stiff once it’s on, it doesn’t offer extreme length or volume, and you have to apply it sparingly and carefully to avoid clumping. But most “sweatproof” mascaras don’t work for me, and this one does. So: four stars for doing what it says it will do.

So disappointed in this mascara. I have super straight lashes and after curling them and applying the mascara, they literally uncurl before my eyes and become straight again! I’ll stick to the Maybelline mascaras, which would never do this. Feel like I wasted my money!

This clumped my upper lashes immediately on application. It didn’t smear or irritate my eyes, but it did flake off in black crumbs that scattered under my eyes. No thanks.

Could there be any better time to review a mascara than 19 hours (just about) after I applied it? Probably not, this is the closest I’m ever going to get to 24 hours so here goes… It’s currently 4.27am where I am and I applied 2 coats of this yesterday morning at 10am before heading to my workplace (indoors), followed by short stints in and out of air conditioned air into 80 f humid air and followed by plane travel! Any smudging or run? Nope, none whatsoever! Past midnight I had what could probably be the equivalent of a 4 hour gym session (but on a dance floor!) and still here I am ready to remove with my trusty facial cloth and warm water and it is STILL ON! No racoon eyes, no flaking over the last 19 hours and definitely no clumping when I applied it. It doesn’t give me quite the amount of length or thickening that I see with Lancome’s Hypnose but it’s not too far behind either. Seperates my lashes nicely and super easy to remove at the end of the day.
I’ve tried this twice before and had no issues, the real test will be come summer when my makeup in general has a tendency to melt regardless of what precautions I take. Until then this is definitely what I’m going to keep using.

This is ok as a tubing mascara. It goes on pretty evenly so no spider lashes. If I use on my bottom lashes I have flaking all day long, and sometimes just the top lashes flake so Nope not 24 hr wear. Gives length and definition. No volume.
Skinny brush which does grab the lashes so not too wet, however when I use it on my bottom lashes I get the mascara everywhere. For a better tubing mascara try Kevyn Aucoin’s version which I think is way better than No.7 and this one. No. 7 is so wet you can’t curl your lashes.

The wand is super skinny and grips lashes during application which I really like. It is a tubing mascara which is also my preferred type of mascara. If worn on my upper lashes only, all is right in the world. But, if I apply to both upper and lower lashes it flakes like nobody’s business. So, upper lashes only for me when using this mascara. I only wish this brand was cruelty-free. There are so few options for cruelty free mascaras and some are not easily accessible here in Canada. ???? I really want to get my hands on the No7 one in the gold tube everyone raves about. In the meantime, I will repurchase until I find a better, cruelty free option.

I’m thinking the salesperson heard “mom” and “smudgeproof” and ran with it forgetting the implied making lashes lush and long — or, at least, more noticeable. It doesn’t smudge but it sucks as a mascara (for ME, at least?)
